Moira, Blake and Logan are the only good thing in this whole mess, and I’m rooting for them hard. The whole mate rejection twist? Oof, that hurt. I just hope Sera gets to catch a break soon."

Honestly surprised
"I started this because I liked the premise, I got a little bogged down in the depression of it in the middle but I am happy I finished it. In the early chapters it looked like a device used to detect depression and mistreatment in others. As it moved on and evolved I detected an unearthly quality to it, highlighted by Moira saying she read a book when it came out that was much older than she was supposedly. I was thinking Vampire at first but the reveal was so much better. The pack got what they deserved in my opinion, they turned their backs on their Moon Goddess so what happened was justified, in my opinion. This story reminds me of a saying by Vivian Greene I came across some time ago. " Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's learning to dance in the rain". I hope this story continues, although as it stands it told a powerful story that reminds us all to be kind to others. "

"I loved loved loved this book!! If you are looking for a HEA, you won't find it here, but still an amazing story! Yet another amazing story from this author! It's an amazing story with a strange plot twist near the end... I won't say much on this one, other than there's violence and abuse in this one... it's more of a moral-to-the-story kind of story than a HEA. I can't say much more or I'd be giving too much of the story away. I will say my favorite character was Sera, and Moira was a close second."
