This story is a stand-alone but runs along the same timeline as ‘The Misconduct of Melrose’ (book 2) and one year ahead of ‘False Start’ (book 3). Characters and storylines may cross over slightly but you don’t need to read every book to follow (although this will enhance your reading enjoyment)
