Chapter 1
as I sat there, with a blank face and a sorrow filled mind, mourning the one I so recently and tragically lost; my peers spoke of her as if it was any other day unaware of the burden of sadness I carry. I never thought I would grieve someone who still lives, it got me thinking...can a heart still break once its stopped beating? That's certainly how I felt at that moment. Through hearing her name all I could seem to realize was , she watered my heart day by day just to let it shrivel up before her and die?
on the day we met, I trudged through the morning dew and as if fate was written in that very moment; as if we were to be, colliding like a pair of glowing stars falling deeper and deeper into the abyss classed as each other with every passing millisecond, we met.
you were the light of my life, my soulmate day after day I opened the windows to hear sounds of people who I knew would never be you.
in silence and tears with a severed heart, as if the world ripped it right out of my chest without a second thought, my depression turned to anger, screw that, blind rage!
I felt myself walking up to her in mind, to express my emotions like a mad woman, but realising our relationship has and forever been a secret and I would much prefer to suffer alone in silence, so with that I raised my red cup to the world and drank to bittersweet heartbreak.
