Unfold

Allow my invisible words to sprinkle prayer dust upon the backbone of your cascading fears. Let my heart beats strum every velvet string of your faith, as the thin veins in my existence weave waves of self governance across oceans filled with heart shaped stones.

Your tears are of a weeping willows sighs, for silent tongues sway behind clenched teeth, as they write somber confessions across paper thin exhales. Shadows of your past wander amongst burnt out stars, unfurling restless memories across rivulets of liquified treasury’s. You have carved poetic impulses on every fallen leaf within the forested landscapes of my reveries. You have shackled every strain within each footstep, for my feet does not question fate, nor hang on every tic of time’s created clock, they walk to the sound of alluring destinies.

I yearn for the fallen petals of your strength to cloak me in saffron mists of tomorrows, to drench me in the dews of yesterdays, as my hazed dawns drag heartache across paths of broken dreams. Like flickering light behind a fading photograph, you will always be my personal bonfire, for fireflies bounce on wavy blades, as the reflection of our broken dreams, turn ashen shades into beautiful stains of debts paid. I will wait for you on the bright end of life’s road, I’ll even carve the different names we have on unfading stories left to be told. We will forever rediscover what it means to be flesh and bones, on lives we have yet to unfold.
