Reckless Nights

Summary

The lyrics to 'Middle Of The Night' could not be anything but true when it came to Lisa. From a high profile job to having a socialite bestie who keeps her on her toes, Lisa has all the bases covered except for at night when she locks her apartment door and climbs into bed after a steamy shower. It's then when she falls asleep that the bed creaks under someone else's weight. It's then that he takes control, and she loses her senses.

Chapter 1

‘We are leaving.’

‘What? So soon we just got here like 15 minutes ago!’

‘Exactly, if I stay to long then it’s social suicide.’

Steffy placed her empty champagne glass on the tray of a passing waiter and gave Lisa an all-knowing look.

‘True, it’s Socialite 101, don’t overstay your welcome unless it’s the event of the year.’

Sammy flicked his pointy finger off into the air in his version of an all-knowing gesture, squeezed his butt and pranced out of the hall behind Steffy.

Lisa had no choice but to follow suit, after all they were a team - the diva, the queen and the introvert.

‘I am game for McDonald’s’, chimed in Sammy. The three were stretched out on the back seat of Steffy’s limo.

‘Hell, no, we had that last Saturday. What do you say Lisa, it’s your pick this weekend?’

‘A steamy hot bath please, I just want to soak.’

‘With a mystery man no doubt’, winked Steffy.

‘Tell us, who makes your body so sore?’ Sammy leaned in closer. ‘What’s the T?’

‘Nothing, ... no one, I just wake up sore some days.’

Truth be told it was actually sorer some days than others, but Lisa didn’t feel like they needed to know that. She loved her friends but sometimes they were just too much to handle, and tonight she didn’t have the energy, she was even secretly thrilled when they had left the event earlier than expected but she still had a bit of a conscience playing on her since it was a charity event.

The little devil and angel that had already perched on either side of her shoulders and were having a go at her.

Lisa rubbed the back of her neck and noticed that they had stopped midway during sips of champagne and that their eyes were on her.

‘I just need a new bed.’

‘McDonald’s sounds great by the way,’ said Lisa in an attempt to deviate.

‘You see some of us like them burgers.’

The tension in her muscles began to loosen and fall off, as a hot pulse flowed out of the massaging shower head, it hit her shoulders and back, causing a sigh to escape her lips.

She could stay there for hours, except for her drowsy eyes and the 100 litre geyser which would get depleted pretty soon.

...

He grabbed a hold of her ponytail as he rapidly pumped into her mouth.

She struggled to catch her breathe but Luca didn’t care, he was close to release. So close.

‘Take it bitch’, he commanded her and pumped harder till finally he jettisoned his load into her, and then pushed her back violently against the dirty graffiti plastered alley wall.

Zipping up he turned to walk away and finally tossed two coins to her as an afterthought.

‘I have had better!’

‘Bastard,’ she called out after him.

He smirked and left her for the rest of his men to enjoy.

In a puff of ominous black smoke, a slender yet muscled figure materialised on the rooftop of an abandoned building, three streets away from the alley where his legion were enjoying their current prey.

Luca let out a sigh as he looked over the city. He had watched this place grow from a field to what it was now, the humans called it progress, but he had witnessed its destruction, everything that had to be murdered and trampled on in order to achieve their progress.

Thinking about it usually rekindled a spark within him, that revered in their greed, and crude behaviour. He even grew in power when he misled them. Their mortal minds were easily corrupted, and it was a constant source of amusement to the legion.

But recently that spark lay dormant, it took more to satisfy him, more to satisfy his hunger.

‘What’s up boss?’

Chase appeared a few steps behind him.

Chase was the youngest of the group, and at times it felt like he was the one who followed Luca closer than his second in charge. They had seen many battles in their time. And even more hardships. Especially The Fall.

Maybe that was why Luca could not shake the feeling of dread, the anniversary of The Fall was almost upon them.

Hell would call them back.
