Chapter 1
His sin was a burden he carried with him every day, a secret that weighed heavily on his heart. He had made a mistake, a terrible mistake, and it was one that he could never undo. He had hurt someone he loved, someone who had trusted him completely, and he knew that he would never be able to forgive himself for it.
But despite his guilt and shame, there was one person who still loved him, who still believed in him, and that was her. She had seen the worst in him, she had seen the darkness that he carried within him, but she had also seen the good. She had seen the man he could be, the man he wanted to be, and she had loved him all the same. Her love was a light in the darkness, a beacon of hope that gave him the strength to carry on. She didn’t judge him for his sin, she didn’t try to fix him, she simply loved him for who he was, flaws and all. And so he vowed to do better, to be better, not just for himself, but for her. He knew that he could never fully atone for his sin, but he could try to make amends, to be the kind of person. But is he???
