Chapter One: How I met my Mate.
Victoria's POV
Ding Ding.
"Vic honey please check if it's dress I order for your sister", Mom shouted from the living room. I sighed before I tried to make my way towards the door catching a glimpse of my mother doing my little sister, April's , hair.
She played with her dolls while mom was finding it hard to comb her brunette hair, that only followed her stiff necked demands.
The frustration got to Mom because she gave up and sighed, "April Honey, you need to stay quite for a little while I'm combing your hair".
"But mom I want to comb Anastasia's hair before the ceremony",she pouted still brush her dolls hair.
Another Ding brought me back to the task at hand Mom then shouted,"Victoria Door!!!"
"I know mom"
I opened the door to see a young guy turning towards me as soon as the door opens,"Ah is this xx xxxx xxx ?"
"Yeah",he then said great before handing a shoe sized box with a clipboard.
"Please sign here as confirmation ", I did as he told and he smiled"Thank you have a nice day", and left.
I said you too before closing the door and heading towards mom. "It's here",April then gasped.
"My fairy dress, it's finally here!"she ran up to me a took the box, rested it on the ground before she ripped all the brown paper wraps.
"Wow",she stared in awe at the purple fairy dress covered in bluish-purple sprinkles.
"Is this the dress you'll be wearing at the gathering?" I asked her.
"Yep, Mommy got it for me",she hugged her dress looking towards me leaning on the doorpost arms folded. Her hair was ruffled from the struggle mom had few minutes before.
"That's nice",I applaud her.
"Okay girls time to get ready for the ceremony, remember Alpha Dylton does not like lateness.", Mom said as she lead April upstairs guessing to shower as April blabs about how pretty she will be.
I rolled my eyes, why?
Because I don't care for this Alpha descendants shit of a ceremony. I'd rather be in bookstore buying the latest After series.
I nevertheless went to my room, since I am apart of the pack, to get ready. It's an exclusive ball with over fifty different packs coming to celebrate our packs new Alpha, Derek.
Derek is a self-centered shit, and if I'll be honest, I hate him, yet I respect him since he's my soon-to-be leader. For one to hate means you'll do anything to hurt that person, that that person loves the most, or the one he cherishes. I don't HATE him to those extent but I can quietly wish he falls face first while running.
I went into my shower and did a quick shower before I walked into my room once again.
"Vic can you do me a favour and call your father while I go do my make up",mom came to my door way with towels wrapped around her.
"Sure"I brushed my hair while I looked for a dress to wear.
As my eyes set on the perfect skin tight red dress hanging gloriously around the back of my wardrobe.
"Bingo",I mean yeah I do look to attract a certain someone.
Elijah is my crush, I mean I have liked him since I was twelve and honestly I decided last night I'll get his attention and make him see me more than just a friend.
I throw on my dress and a pair of black heels and started to curl my hair.
After fifteen minutes I have finally finished with my hair and my makeup. I took out my phone contacting my dad.
"Hello sweetie, are you guys finally ready now",dad said as I realized he was right we do tend to take our sweet ass time to get ready.
"Yeah we are, mom's just getting herself ready"
"Okay I'll be there in ten"
"Alright we'll be waiting" and I hung up.
I got off my bed and walked towards my dresser mirror checking out my outfit and appearance.
"Not bad",I nod in agreement as footsteps start to approach my door.
"Wow Vicky you look beautiful",my baby sister awed as her little crowd glittered to my night light.
"Thanks, and you look like a cute little Tinkerbell",I commented taking her up in my arms.
"Thank you", she giggled.
"Where's Mom?" I asked walking out my room with April still in my arms.
"She's in her room",she pointed.
"Okay" I smiled putting down "April go downstairs and wait for us and don't take any snuggles out the fridge"
"No promises" she giggled as she ran downstairs.
I shook my head at how adorable she is and walked towards Mom's room. I knocked softly gaining a response back saying one minute.
"Mom dad's on his way", I saw mom trying to fix her blond locks in a bun due to the form.
"Ah, can you give me a hand", she asked.
" Sure", and I did began to fix the knotty disaster she calls her hair.
After fifteen minutes and dad's continuous honking, combine with my sister's giddiness of Dad being here, we have finally finished making mom look spectacular.
As we began descending the stairs, we could see dad's back was turned to us,"Uh Finally I see you gu-" he was speechless at the sight of my mom.
"Cat got your tongue?"Mom purred.
"Well it certainly stop me from chewing you guys out", he took a hold of her hand helping her down the last two steps.
Mom giggled while dad looks around at me, "Wow look at my baby girl", he smiled with tears threatening to come out.
"Daddy I'm your little girl"April started to pout whining.
"You both are", he then gathered us for a group hug before letting us leave the house.

As we got closer we could hear the music filling the air. People were leaving there cars with the estate's butler's.
We got out with April being April chatted about how beautiful the castle was.
It was a mansion okay, but to her little mind once it's big, it's a castle.
We were greeted by the ushers then directed inside. I would be lying if the home didn't look good. It was majestic. The outside had a more of a mansion field whiles the inside looked more like a castle.
"Wow" April jumped excitedly.
"Levy glad to see you", the source of the voice was Mr. Harris. Elijah's father.
"Mr Harris, nice to meet you", Dad shook his hand.
"No need for formalities now, you are the beta of the pack",Mr Harris chuckled at dad's nervousness.
"Well it's not formalized as yet",Dad corrected.
You see dad was promoted by the Alpha, Dylton Greed three weeks ago. Even tho it had to be public, he was offered the job and today was that day he'll be recognised as someone of a higher standard.
"Oh stop you know you are one of the beta council." Mr Levy instructed.
"Of course ,oh where are my matters Mr.Levy this is my wife, My daughter and I believe you have meet My oldest daughter Victoria already"
"Indeed how can I forget Elijah's Best friend" friend zone by even his parent.
"Nice to meet you again Mr.Levy ",I shook his hand before I excusing myself from the council's history.
After walking for some time I came across Elijah having a conversation with some chick who's eyelash was visible from six feet.
"Hi Eli" I fakely smiled at him throwing daggers at the plasticated new word, bitch.
"Vic so glad to see you"Eli stopped what he was doing and hugged me, I blew raspberries towards the girl making her rolled her eyes walking away from my childish ways.
"What's up babe?" He asked not noticing the bitch's presence gone.
"I wanted to ask you don't call me that"
"Why" he sipped some of his wine.
"Elijah you know I like you"
"Everyone likes me",he looked at me as if I was saying some stupid.
"Your just playing with my feelings at this point"
"Look Vicky, I know you have a crush on you but it won't work out trust me. It might even ruin our friendship.",he tried to reason but me begin the stubborn chick I am, failed to see that.
"Elijah come on how can you be sure if you don't try it ",I pouted whiles disappointed at his lack of effort.
"I just know Vic"
Before I could argue further the Alpha him self made his appearance to me,"May I get your individual attention please",the conversion immediately died down. "Thank you, so as you all know today is another decade I have worked with the Crimson Pack, and every one here"
He paused looked across the crowd before he began his speech again"But now I must pass on this legacy to my son,Derek Greed"
And the crowd started to clap as Derek smiled walking towards the small stage they had set up. Stage lights were following his every move.
As on cue my heart began to pound quickly as my wolf began to howl inside while growling. He then look towards me and I'm guessing he knew at that moment, what both of us are going through, what we did not guess in a million years would happen. That we were mates.
