Truths, Mixed Emotions, and Fierce Determination
Chapter Twenty-Seven *Jade POV*
I can't believe Bryson asked me to marry him. I am so ecstatic. I just wish that Caine would ask me as well. I would love to have the relationship my parents have. The love they share. All I want is to love and be loved. To be protected and to protect my own little family.
I was headed to my room to get ready when I noticed my daddy knocking on Caine’s door. I hid behind the wall and waited until Caine opened the door. Once my daddy went inside, I crept to the door.
I stood there silently, waiting to see what my daddy was going to say. I would protect my man even if it meant from my daddy, too. He was overprotective, and I knew sometimes he could go overboard. I didn't want him yelling at Caine.
My eyes widened after a few minutes when my daddy asked Caine if he ever told Bryson his true feelings about him. Caine loved Bryson? I mean, I knew he cared for him like a brother, or at least I thought so.
When I heard Caine’s voice break and his emotional outburst, I knew right then that he loved Bryson. I knew I shouldn't be eavesdropping, but I couldn't help myself. I listened to Caine tell his story to my daddy, and my heart ached for him. I was devastated and felt the pain he must have felt watching his father being murdered in front of him and knowing his mother was probably murdered as well.
All because he loved Bryson.
His father was a brave man.
I knew he stood up for his son even though it cost him his life.
Caine loved Bryson for a long time, and now I understand why he looked the way he looked when Bryson told me how he felt at breakfast and then proposed with a promise.
Caine wanted Bryson to feel that way about him as well. I thought he was jealous at first for not doing it first, but this made more sense. They both loved me and wanted me equally, but Caine loved Bryson, too.
I know it's not my place to do this, but I need to help Caine. He deserves to have happiness. Tonight, I am going to give them my virginity, but I am going to push those two along. They need the extra push.
Tonight, the three of us are going to have a little bit of fun. Caine and Bryson are in for a big surprise. My men need me, and I am going to make sure I give them all I got up my sleeves. I smirked and rushed to my room to get ready.
I can't wait.

*Bryson POV*
I had an overnight bag ready, and I had a few toys I bought for my princess. I was looking forward to finally sleeping with my girlfriend. I turned my light off and headed to Anders's office. On the way there, I knocked on Caine’s door to see if he was ready.
He opened the door and tensed when he saw me. Okay?
"Hey, bro, I was just checking to see if you were packed and ready to go yet? We still need to go talk to Anders about the trackers." I said calmly.
"Uh... yeah... about that... umm... Jackson came by a little bit ago to talk and see how I was holding up. I mentioned that you and I were going to ask him and Anders about them. He said it was a great idea and said he would talk to Anders. I believe they are waiting for us in the office. I'm not sure if Jade is there already. Should we head over there? Also, to answer your first question, I am packed and ready." Caine said nervously.
Why did Caine seem like he was nervous all of a sudden? That's not like him. I frowned but forced a smile.
Why did Jackson want to talk to Caine?
Was something wrong?
Did Caine talk to Jackson about what was wrong?
I was Caine’s best friend. Why couldn't he talk to me? Why didn't he come to me if something was wrong? I wasn't sure what came over me, but that made me feel strange. Why was I so angry and hurt by that?
What was this other feeling I was feeling? Was it jealousy? No... it couldn't be that. I mean, I wasn't into men. At least, I didn't think I was. I loved me some pussy, but yet I couldn't ever imagine having sex with anyone if Caine wasn't there too. Why was that? I mean, I loved sharing with him, but only him. I couldn't even fathom sharing Jade with anyone but Caine.
I shook my thoughts away and nodded to Caine in frustration. "Yeah, sure, let's go see them."
Caine grabbed his bag and then closed his door, following behind me to Anders's office. We knocked, and Jade opened the door. "Hey, my two loves, dad told me to wait here till you got here. Are you ready? Are we leaving?" Jade said with a mischievous smile.
I narrowed my eyes at her, "What have you got running through that mind of yours, baby? I would hate to spank that ass of yours till you can't walk." I leaned in and whispered in her ear with a deep dominant voice.
She inhaled sharply and jerked her head back, and looked at me with wide dilated eyes. I winked at her and then met Anders and Jackson at his desk. She stood there in shock. I bet if Caine or I felt inside her delicate folds, she would be soaked.
"Anders, Jackson." I nodded my head. "I am glad you guys suggested the trackers. Jade had one before, but it was on her necklace. It broke so many times that I think this option is better." Anders said as he sat in his chair. Jackson sat down next to him and reached out and grabbed Anders hand in his.
Anders smiled and kissed the back of Jackson's hand.
"Excuse me? Come again with that? What do you mean trackers? Really, Dad? My necklace?" Jade said in disgust, then she narrowed her eyes and glared at Caine and me, "This was your idea?"
Caine and I exchanged glances and then looked back at her. "Yes, Princess, it was, and you will cut that attitude down a notch. We are worried about your safety. What do you expect when you have a dangerous and cold-hearted man who wants to take you away from us? I don't want anything to happen to you or Bryson. I wouldn't know how to handle that. So please excuse us for thinking about keeping you and Bryson safe." Caine growled angrily but then sighed with frustration at the end.
Why didn't he mention himself? He was just as important as us. Didn't he realize that? He was a part of us.
"You need to be kept safe too. Please don't leave yourself out. You mean a lot to both of us. I'm sorry for acting that way." Jade said as she dropped her head in shame.
"Jade is right, bro. You are important as much as we are." I snapped out. Caine flinched at the mention, bro. From the corner of my eye, I noticed Jackson motioning Caine with his head toward me. Caine just shook his head discreetly. Jackson just shook his head sadly and sighed dejectedly.
WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?
I opened my mouth to say just that when Caine narrowed his eyes at me and growled in frustration, "Don't call me bro. I... c-can't handle that name anymore. Are you truly that blind Bryson? You know what, just forget I said anything... bro."
When he said bro, you could hear the sarcasm clearly.
*cough*
"Gentleman, please. Let's calm down and put these trackers in. It's obvious you guys are strung tight, but remember each other and our daughter. Everything else can be placed on the back burner for later." Anders said firmly.
"You're right, I apologize to everyone for my outburst." Caine grumbled as Jade embraced him tightly as he laid his face in the crook of her neck. Then, the three of us moved toward Anders and Jackson. We waited as they placed the trackers in our arms. Once they finished, we headed out of the house.
Hotel, here we come.
Tonight was about the three of us.
I would speak to Caine later. Something was wrong, and he needed to man the fuck up and tell me what it was. I would not take no for an answer.
Not this time.
