"So many hurdles for Rakel to overcome and with the amount of outside interference it was hard to know what was pushing in the right and wrong direction at times! No doubt when Rude was by her side she had the foundation she needed to stand tall and in time be his support as well. A beautiful story showing strength in vulnerability and weaving all the books together. No small thing!!! Love the sub pack and getting more insight into their world as a whole. Amazing as always, So excited for the next book! "

I was a bit worried how the author would deal with so much heaviness in Rakel, but she's tackling some very serious material with precision and believability. The whole thing is great. Yes, it works best if read in after the first book, but there're more than enough context clues for readers to jump into this book without finishing all the other books. ALL NEW READERS SHOULD STILL READ ALL THE OTHER BOOKS! THEY'RE AMAZING!!"
