Author's Note
Thank you for reading this book! I plan on rewriting Chapters 1 and 2 because I’m not happy with them. I want to tell a better story, one that I actually like and enjoy writing. The plot will change slightly, but it will still be brother x brother. I’m also changing the characters’ names since I don’t like the ones I originally gave them.
I wrote this story sometime last year, but I abandoned it quite a few times because I lost interest. I know I can tell a much better version now. I’ll also be exploring more family taboo themes. I only write about blood family taboo, but I might try step-family in the future.
Anyway, I’m also rewriting the prologue into a short preview chapter to give readers a feel for how Standstill will go.
