Antes de dormir nos imaginamos una vida, soñamos lo que queremos, aquello que anhelamos que nos ocurra, ya sea viajar, enamorarnos, lograr nuestros sueños y metas. Yo era de esa clase de persona que antes de dormir, se imaginaba una vida, soñaba con tener un romance lleno de pasión, de amor, de secretos y pasados oscuros, quería algo que hiciera que mi vida diera un cambio. Soñaba con vivir un amor de libro, específicamente donde el chico malo cambia por la chica buena, teniendo un final feliz como en los cuentos de hadas, pero tristemente, me equivoqué. La realidad y la ficción son dos mundos completamente diferentes, dos mundos que no se deben de mezclar y yo lo hice. Él llegó a mi vida para cambiarla, para enseñarme que el chico malo en la vida real es malo, no uno rebelde como lo relatan en los libros. Arthur Jensen era un chico malo, de esos que prometen romper cada parte de tu alma si no tienes cuidado, si no te alejas pronto. Y eso fue lo que hizo conmigo. No todas las historias de amor tienen un final feliz, algunas solo tienen un final.
A veces nos dejamos llevar por el corazón y no por la razón, creemos que estamos haciendo bien cuando en realidad es todo lo contrario. Nos aferramos a amores que no son sanos, amores que destruyen y consumen nuestra alma. Amores que se roban quienes somos realmente y nos convierte en alguien que no reconocemos cuando miramos nuestro reflejo en un espejo.
