Her eyes slowly opened as a small ray of sunlight disturbed her. She glanced at the beam of sunlight and put forward to feel it and her lips turned slightly turned upward at the warm sensation. It was very rare nowadays to feel anything.

She retrieved her hand hastily at the voice of footsteps coming towards her. She put on her facade, her hands curled into fists as her nails dug into her palms. She knew what was coming toward her.

She never lost hope but her everyday routine did, which left her with nothing but colours on her entire body with black and blue patches and left scars on her body started to make her lose any hope of escaping from 10×10 dark room, with no windows or colour. She felt like she was finally starting to lose her hold on her sanity which made her lip quiver, hands tremble, and eyes fill with salty tears.

She quickly wiped her eyes and started to glare at the door. Soon a creaking sound was produced as the door opened and stood her living nightmare with tired skin, dull blue eyes, formal cut beard, and crisp Italian black suit.

She willed her hands to stop trembling and glared into his eyes.

He moved forward to her and closed the door behind her and darkness engulfed the room once again.
