Chapter 1

"Hello, sir. Do you have an appointment with Mr. Kinov?"

I smile at the man infront of me, checking my list to see no appointments scheduled for the next 15 mins.

"I don't need one. Let me through."

I look up from the papers with a frown.

"I'm sorry, sir. It seems I'm not correctly informed but the boss said not to be disrupted right now. Is it urgent? I can leave a message for you."

The man infront of me clicks his tongue and towers over me but I stand my ground and don't break eye contact.

"Listen, bitch. I said I don't need an appointment so let me through."

His voice is full of anger but I shake my head.

"I'm really sorry, sir. But I can't go against my orders. Please make an appointment and leave for now."

The man grabs me by my neck and smashes me against the wall. I try to keep calm while attempting to pull his hand away.

"P...please, sir. Calm down."

"You don't tell me to calm down!"

My feet hover over the ground and I close my eyes, trying so hard to stay calm when the man is pulled away from me and I'm being catched before collapsing to the ground, breathing heavily.

"Are you okay, Levia?"

I nod and look up into the gorgeous eyes of my boss with a weak smile.

"Yes. Thank you, Mr. Kinov."

He smiles at me and turns to the man, pushing me protectively behind himself.

"How dare you treat my workers like this? I don't have any business with someone like you. Get lost."

Mr. Kinov's voice sounds so cold. I can't help but bite my lower lip. It's so damn hard to be a full hearted submissive working for someone as dominant as him...

The man storms off and Mr. Kinov turns to me and lifts up my chin. I gasp at the sudden skin contact as he grazes his fingers on my neck and sighes.

"Wait here a moment."

He leaves for his office and comes back soon after with some gel in his hand, moving his hand up in a motion. I follow his silent command and lift my chin up. This it not the first time one of our clients got loud but no one ever layed hand on me. That sure was unexpected. Many men seem to think I'm some weak woman they can toss around but when they notice I'm not backing off, they cooperate...

I flinch at the touch on my sensitive skin but keep my chin up until he backs off and nods at me.

"Thank you, Mr. Kinov."

He nods with a little smile and checks his watch.

"C'mon. Let's grab a coffee. My next meeting only starts in 35 minutes. I got a call, saying to move it from their side."

My eyes wide and I look at my phone to see no missed calls.

"B...but why did they called you? All calls should go through me."

He chuckles and grabs my shoulder, turning me around and start walking to the elevator.

"Don't worry your pretty little head about that. You didn't do anything wrong."

I frown but decide to not ask any further questions. As we wait for the elevator to arrive, I keep my gaze on the ground, my muscular boss next to me making me feel hot in all the wrong places. The door opens and we step inside. I take deep breathes, trying to make it go as unnoticable as possible so my boss doesn't see I'm afraid of elevators. Sucks to work in a 21 floor building. Sometimes taking the elevator is neccassary.

The elevator shakes a little, making it hard for me to breathe until it shakes hard once and stops moving. Mr. Kinov clicks his tongue and looks around before calling the staff through the emergency button.

My heart pounds wildly, I start to forget how to breathe, no matter how hard I try. My legs feel shaky and I hug my chest tightly, trying so damn hard to calm myself down from my rising panic. My chest tightens, making me feel dizzy and everything starts to get blurry as some strong arms hold mine.

"Hey! Levia!"

Mr. Kinov lifts my chin and looks into my eyes.

"Calm down. Everything is okay. Take deep breathes. Like me."

He starts breathing slowly but no matter how much I try, I can't calm down. He gritts his teeth and pulls me closer to him, holding one arm around me and laying his other hand on my chest.

"I'm going to help you. Don't worry."

He starts breathing visibily again and this time pushes into my chest while breathing out, removing the pressure when breathing in. He continues this, while I slowly calm down and smiles, never letting the rhythm fall.

"Good. You're doing great."

I smile weakly at his voice and soon my breathing is back to somewhat normal, my chest still stinging. Mr. Kinov takes his hand from my chest and lifts up my chin, our faces so close...

"Are you okay now?"

I nod slowly, trying to hide my blushing cheeks from the closeness and bite my lower lip. His gaze flickers down to my lips and up into my eyes again, making me blush even more.

Before this embarrassing moment can continue any longer, the door opens and he steps away from me slightly, still holding his arm around me to keep me steady, which I appreciate since my legs are still feeling like jelly. He slowly starts walking to the door and gently pushes me to one of our medics.

"She got a panic attack in there."

The medic nods and is about to take me to a silent corner but Mr. Kinov grabs my arm before.

"Take the rest of the day free. I'll see you tomorrow moring."

I open my mouth, wanting to argue but know better than this and just nod.

"Thank you, Mr. Kinov."

He nods with a small smile and heads off to the cafeteria while the medic leads me into the oposite direction.
