Chapter 1

Alexi, you’re being unreasonable! My throat hurts from all the screaming.

I’m not anything, Raven, but you know what you are? “an Ungrateful bitch”

“I give you everything you might want, yet you still choose to run and flirt with an ugly ass monkey.”

My legs are weak, my nose is red from crying, and my sobs echo through the spacious house. He was right. He had given me everything I wanted. He gives me everything but his love and loyalty, the two things I wish I had more than anything.

“I’m done with this shit, David. I can’t take it anymore! You wouldn’t find me here tomorrow. I’m going and leaving you”.

His shoulders tensed, his jaw hardened, eyes blazed like the fire of hell, and I knew I made a mistake.

It was a mistake.

Slaps, kicks, and punches repeatedly, like a video on replay. My throat dried from screaming no one to save me. My face burns, and tears run down my swollen eyes. Nobody to wipe my tears. Blood runs down my body. Nobody has a tissue. My body is numb and drowning; I need someone to save me. I can’t swim.

***********

My husband, my heart and soul.

The house is cold, and not even a sunny sun can cure it.

The darkness is too dark; there is no light.

My blood has run over the teacup.

Every cut is a reminder in the morning

That I still love him.

The smell of beer and weed is all I smell.

This is different.

He is different.

Is this love?

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
