Wynter Silvermyst’s POV
I sit in my seat on the bus that will take me to the main city of Faylea along with my best friend who has been beside me since we were little girls trying to help each other understand our magick.
I can remember when we were eight years old, I froze our substitute teacher from the outside without thinking as he was treating me and the other girls as if we were only good for pleasing and pleasuring.
Leah saved my ass as she carefully defrosted our teacher as the principle showed up and that was the last, we saw and heard from that one teacher.
I shook my head as I saw the sign up ahead letting us know we had arrived at the main city, and I saw so many tall buildings and many different fae folks walking about the streets during the sunny day and my eyes widened as I gently pushed Leah to wake up as we silently got off the bus with our small carry bags.
“Okay, so we are going to what head straight to the one place your evil wicked mother told us about?” I nodded as we both started our walk towards one of the many tall building that held important people.
What I knew of my father was that he owns a protection agency to keep everyone safe from bad people who would want to harm anyone, and I felt proud of my father I have never met. We saw the building up ahead with many different fae folks wearing dark clothing and different lethal weapons on there bodies as they walked in and out of the dark grey and white stone building.
“Leah, I am scared. What if he wants nothing not do with me or even worst what if he only cares about his own family and children and mother was right.” I softly said, staring up towards the place I believe is where my father’s office is located.
“Girl, I don’t think he would turn away his only daughter.” I turned to face Leah blinking a way my tears knowing if I start crying now the weather will be affected.
I let out a heavy sigh not wanting to ruin anything for my so-called father, and I turned away from the building silently with Leah walking with me as we head off towards, he university to get our new life started.
I wanted to meet with my father, yet at the same time I do not want to be a burden to him, and his family and I mean, would you want a seventeen-year-old coming into your life and saying ‘hey, I am your daughter.’ I don’t want to ruin whatever life my father may have with whoever is his family now.
I let out a soft sigh, as we entered the tall red brick building with how the place looks like a very gothic building coming from the Tabala era of our people.
We walked in and headed towards the main office of the university, when not even a second later my best friend was held against the wall near by the office door by a rather tall male wearing the same uniform from my father’s business.
His hair was a light short messy dirty blonde hair with deep violet eyes that was framed by long dark black eyelashes, round face with a chiseled jaw line and a slim muscular body.
I felt happy for my best friend, and I knew that it would be best to leave her to her counter part as for some reason I feel some kind of reason to trust this man even though I have no idea who he is or why I should trust him.
I walked into the main office asking them for my schedule as well as my best friend as I know she will be staying with her partner as I will need to find somewhere to stay as I do not want to be a burden to her and her partner.
“Winnie!” I giggled behind my hand as I walked out of the office heading towards to Leah who was now running over to me with a happy glint in her eyes, and the man was following behind her with a soft look in his eyes as he watched her.
When my lilac eyes connected with his deep violet one’s it was as if I knew him and what I was not expecting was to feel a slight burn on my right arm where the blank spot was only to fill when you have your siblings, parents, and other family members to be placed within the mark of a snow drop flower petals.
“Hey, Leah. Who is this gentleman?” I softly asked, keeping my eyes glued to my best friend who was now glaring at me with her arms crossed her chest.
I shook my head knowing that she will demand I tell her what is going on before we could say anything or even start our random banter back and forth, we were both ushered towards a large elevated black truck by her partner I have yet to understand as my mark was still stinging slightly on the inside of my right forearm.
“So, ladies where did you two come from?” his deep voice broke me out of my thoughts as he drove us towards his apartment, he shares with his three cousins that attend the same college we will be starting soon.
“Oh, three towns over from here.” Leah explained for the front seat next to him as they converse, while I stay silent in the backseat, rubbing my forearm absentmindedly.
“Do not rub, little snowflake.” I stopped my rubbing, when my face felt warm from blushing so much from being caught rubbing my forearm.
I looked down with a red face on my white skin stone that I share with Leah’s partner who was amused and chuckling as he parked in the underground parking lot.
“Wynter, before we enter the apartment, I want you to know that uncle and your older brothers have been trying to search for you for years.” I stared at him stunned to find out I have older brothers and that my father has been searching for me, the same way I have tried to search for him.
“Wait, how do you know I am even their sister and daughter?” I asked him carefully, not wanting to get my hopes up with what he was about to say.
“Snowflake, you are my little cousin and how I know is my last snow drop flower petal on my right forearm is now complete with your name written on the petal.” I shook my head giggling softly, trying to hold back my tears not wanting to cause the nice weather to change to a rainstorm.
I looked at my forearm to see a snow drop flower in full bloom with a petal open with a name written inside and what I saw was Ashton Silvermyst and my eyes widen as I looked up at him with a happy smile on my face.
Ash helped me out first before he gently picked my best friend up as I grabbed our small carry bags following my older cousin inside who was now opening the door with his bottom as he had Leah in his arms.
I quickly ran over, holding the door open for him as we quickly went down the hall towards the bottom floor as I took the keys from Ash’s hand to unlock and open the door and holding it open as he took Leah towards his room.
I took off my flats after locking the door behind us, as I followed Ash into the large open space apartment where I was shocked to see a very tall, muscular snow white haired young man shirtless as he was on the phone outside on the balcony barking in a loud angry voice.
“Do not fret Snowflake, that is Erick one of the triplets that is one of your older brothers.” Ash whispered to me as I watched him head towards the glass door slapping the back of Erick’s bare skin making him scream and jump in fright.
I could not hold back from laughing right out when I watched the two-start arguing back and forth, as I felt myself getting tired as it was a long trip from three towns over and trying to understand if my father even wanted me.
I turned away from them both as I curled up on the couch tucking myself into a small ball as I closed my eyes to rest from the long trip and from the burning sensation that was happening again with a new petal joining the first one.
Not even a moment later, I was sound asleep when I heard a few low timber male voices bickering back and forth when I felt someone was running their hand through my long platinum blonde hair, helping me fall deeper in sleep.
The next time I woke up I was now laying in a bed, and it was morning as the sun was high in the sky and I was a little confused on how I got here in the first place.
I quickly got out bed and went into the joined bathroom as I looked around to see it was a mans bathroom and I was trying to figure out which brother brought me here and what they had thought when they saw me even though I was sound asleep.
