"One of the remarkable thing about the story is it is very fluid. The present and the past transitions are absolutely smooth going hand in hand just as the story unfolds from their childhood till the end. A rollercoaster emotional ride to say the least. Also, I loved how towards the end all the characters show up or how if there was a thought/question in the past that was left hanging in the start of the story was finally addressed. No loose ends. I just couldn't find any flaw at all. Perfectly written. A very heart touching story and loved it immensely. Couldn't put it down till I finished the story. It was too good."

"This book has the most unforgiving second-chance love triangle with two totally different but amazing men that I've ever read. With flashbacks to the 90s and early 2000s, this book has so many heart-melting moments, drama, and tension that I've lost count. Will you be on team Oliver or Hunter? I had no idea who Kinsey was going to choose till the very end, and I loved every minute of it. Heidi is the best at pulling on all of your heartstrings while never making things cut and dry—every character she writes has many layers of motivation, and it's so much fun to peel those back with her. Every book of hers is worth a read."

A very addictive book
"This is not the first book from this author I have read and it certainly won't be the last, her writing is amazing, the dialogues especially are both witty and endearing and always compelling to read. That being said I wasn't the biggest fan of some of the characters including the main character. All of the characters were well flushed out and complex it was just their personality or flaws that to me made it hard to like them. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll leave it at that and let you be the judge. The plot itself was extremely compelling and I couldn't stop reading until the end and you won't either."
