“it is a sunny today, unlike yesterday. ”
Florene whispered to herself while staring at the window next to her seat.
The window next to her seat is her best friend. No, she’s not a loner. She has friends, well only when ” she” is not around.
" flor! ”
her classmate shout, while walking towards her
“wanna grab lunch together? ”
her classmate asked
“just us?”
Florene asked
" with Clara, but probably Alyssa’s gonna be with us since since monday alyssa’s eating with clara.”
her classmate said.
" No, thanks. I have period cramps, i’m too lazy to get up on my seat. ”
Flor declined.
she’s not really on her period. She just don’t wanna feel left out.
Florene really envy Alyssa.
She think Alyssa have everything she could dream of.
she has a face she want.
she has a grades she want.
she has a popularity she wants.
she has a body she wants.
she has talents she wants.
she has rich she wants.
she has confidence she wants.
she has everything flor wants.
After lunch everyone is starting to comback from cafeteria.
“Alyssa, did you eatwell?”
" Alyssa, how’s lunch? ”
" Alyssa, you need a gum?”
" Alyssa, are done in math homework”
" Alyssa, can you teach me this part? ”
The moment Alyssa stepped inside the classroom everyone gathered around her.
while everyone is busy talking to Alyssa, Flor is sitting on her seat watching Alyssa trying to answer everyone question with a smile.
That smile made Flor hate her even more.
after math class everyone started going to the locker room to change into P. E uniform since the next class is gym.
Flor let everyone get out the room before she does.
while walking onto the locker room flor could hear her classmates laughing with Alyssa.
she feel annoyed.
After she changed, Flor is about to go to the gym when clara called her
“Flor! ”
“what is it? ”
Flor asked
" jasmine said you’re on your period, are you sure you’re gonna attend gym class? ”
Clara asked.
“o-oh y-yeah, but i’m feeling better now and i don’t want to skip a class.. ”
Florene answered.
" oh okay then let’s go to gym together!”
Clara suggested
Flor has no choice so she agreed to come with Clara. She really don’t hang around clara since she’s really a loud person, but she’s a really sweet person tho.
the moment they stepped inside the gym Clara ran towad Alyssa and left Florene behind.
Florene was used to it
she knows that people only see her when alyssa’s not around.
After a while the teacher started gathering everyone.
“For today’s activity we we’re going with pair.”
the teacher explained.
Everyone is hoping that they could be pair with Alyssa
The teacher started discussing who would paired with whom.
" Jasmine and Raya”
“Louise and Clara ”
" Carlene and Rhian ”
" and finally.. Alyssa and Florene, ok guys go with your partners. ”
" WHAT?! ”
" WOAH SHE’S LUCKY ”
Everyone said while staring at Florene.
Alyssa started walk towards Florene.
" Florene right?”
Alyssa asked.
" Yes”
Florene answered
" How come i don’t know you?, w- well don’t think that on the bad way. It’s just i can’t believe we’re on the same class, you hate to socialize or something? ”
Florene did not bother to answer Alyssa’s questions.
" uhh am i asking too much? sorry i’m really a talkative person haha... ”
Alyssa said while rubbing her head out of embarrasment that she got ignored.
The teacher started gathering everyone for instructions.
