Today is my day. Today is my day to shine. Today has to be perfect! Everything, perfect. Dance, perfect. Dress, perfect. Makeup, perfect. Everything, straight & perfect. If I mess up once, it’s all over.

Thoughts ravage over my head. Perfect, Perfect, Perfect! I take a look at me on the dresser. My cold violet eyes sparkle from the little tears I sobbed.

My straight brown hair stayed in place, as it should. I brush down my elegant white dress, which looks similar to a bride dress. No stains, high quality, unique & gorgeous.

I hold my gloved hands on the top of breast. My white teeth shown a bit after more sparkles shed. My brown borwd squirm as my pink lips crumbled, just like a earthquake.

This feels like a wedding. All the attention will be shown to me once it’s my turn to shine. The spotlight will be directly on me. As I turn & twist my body, it’ll still chase me around the stage.

I lift my heavy earrings with my fingers. They were real marbles. My mother spend hundreds just for the earrings. That just adds more pressure.

I look down on the dresser table. Makeup surrounded the whole dresser. Blush, Lipstick, Mascara & etc.

The other girls, which were going to perform dancers on stage, were in the room with me. Every single one of them went to my school. They chatted & giggled all over the place. I could barely keep my thoughts without their jabbering filling up the room.

I have to actually zone out completely to keep my thoughts in place.

“Hey, you see Mergence over there? She’s always so quiet. Its like she’s sweating…” A girlly voice said in the middle of the jabbering air. My mind popped once I heard my name.

“Y-yes?” I said, turning my head back. The girls’ look at me, with a flabbergasted expression. They smile at me like I know them or something.

Suddenly, a girl kicked open the door, sending eyes right rhe bun-head. “Hey, dancers! The dance starts in fifteen minutes.” The girl alarmed us. I never knew her name. Everyone else did.

I mean, I did just join the school two months ago. The dance competition for spring started two weeks ago. I don’t remember her face at all.

Maybe I’ll actually get to know her more once the competition season continues. Nobody has really spoken to me either, but Venice & Janna. Their my only friends.

They talk to me everyday. Venice is the one with dark navy curly hair with black orbs. Janna is the one with short one with short hair. Both of them are pretty social & girly.

Their just like the other social butterflies in Rosemarie High. Anyways, back to what’s going on. “Seriously?” One girl yelled. “Yup! So pack up your conversions & get to practicing!” She ordered as she shut the door with all her force.

“Ugh, she’s so overhyped.” A girl muttered. The voice, it sounded like that one girl that mentioned me earlier. I rolled my eyes, feeling overwhelmed by my thoughts once again.

Finally, majority of the girls walk out the dressing room, continuing their obnoxious conversations together. Then, that only means, I was left with those dead rumorous souls.

Yes, the two making a big deal over just a hyper girl & started talking about me, around me! I could feel their demonic orbs glaring me down.

“Hey, Mergence, come over here!” The girl called. I look over. Both their faced had a fierce look on them. Their brows stabbed down as their smiles squirmed, showing out the devil inside them.

I didn’t respond, I iust walked on over towards them, shaking uncontrollably. I took a big gulp, slowing my shaking down. “Y-yes?” I stuttered.

Jesus! Do I always stutter? Well, unfortunately, yes. It’s always been apart of me. It’s adapted to me. I’ve tried to stop but to comes naturally.

Oh well.

“Your dress is pretty, Mergence!” The ruby haired girl giggled. “Yeah, totally!” The other dancer agreed. My face remains the same, “T-thanks.” I thanked the two.

I have a need to leave this conversation. I just wanna go practice in one of the small empty rooms. I don’t wanna be here, honestly.

My need to leave just worsen once the ruby haired girl smirked, “So, are you excited about the dance?” She whipped her hand until her breath, making a look she’s about to laugh.

I look around the room, what should I say? Think, Mergence, think!! “Mmmmmm—!” I grumbled. I then froze. Wait, did I actually just make that noise!?

Look like me, embarrassing myself once again! Oh lord this one’s gonna be exhausting! Just as expected, I heard a burst of laughter from out both the girls.

“Mmmmm—!? What does that mean!?” The blonde yelled before going straight back to her laughing session.

“N-n-no!!!” My mind scavenges of things to say. My eyes were wide of fear. “No what?” The ruby haired asked, with a smug look.

I run out the room immediately. As I should’ve done earlier. I opened the door & shut it close. I’m sure everyone heard the echo.

No, no, no! No way I just said that! What even was that!? God what the heck!!! I ran through the hallways, full of chattering women. I rushed & rushed to the room in the back, hoping nobody was in there.

Also hoping I won’t trip & fall!!!

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...
