What an evening that was! I was sitting beside the driver and behind me was my sweetheart, with Teju in the middle and Adithi on her right. The song selection on the radio seemed to be exceptionally good that day—romantic songs that Amyra and I could relate to—and we sat listening to them without saying anything, but smiling within. These moments of silence only added to the beauty of the songs. I tried to see her in the rearview mirror but, every time, I’d only find Teju’s funny face and she would raise her eyebrows, mocking me.
"Guess you didn't forget your Yash! Who you promised yourself to be his and only his, decades ago!" Hearing the name, a gasp leaves her mouth as the man on the other end speaks after what felt like an eternity.
“I'm coming for you, Amyra! To claim what is rightfully mine, from the very beginning"
“W-Wait!!!—” her calls for him are met with silence, but very soon the line gets disconnected, as a way to bring them closer to where they are meant to be.

Ashley: I enjoyed the story. It was a short one so the fast pace fit. I think something should be put in to show a time jump between paragraphs like a "****" just to make it easier to follow when we skip to the next day week or month. Over all a good read.
