Summary

Tras sobrevivir a un trágico accidente de coche, la joven Nathaly Grey ingresa a la universidad de Washington, ubicada en Seattle, con la esperanza de que al alejarse de su pueblo natal todos los malos recuerdos de aquella dolorosa noche puedan desaparecer. Secuelas de lo vivido amenazan con derribar el muro hostil que ha alzado para protegerse a sí misma; pesadillas, temblores, ataques de pánico, crisis de llanto, todo la lleva a hacer lo que cree que aliviará el dolor, tomando el camino que la llevará más profundo en el mar de la desesperanza. Entre ansiolíticos y somníferos va naciendo una adicción, una dependencia que traerá más caos que paz a la tormenta, una bomba que explotará y arrasará con todo a su paso, dejándola tirada en medio del pavimento, sola, sin fuerza, con una encrucijada frente a ella que la forzará a decidir si se queda allí siendo retorcida por los fármacos o avanza para cumplir la promesa que le hizo a aquella persona que no logró sobrevivir al accidente.
