Fury Flame
"A breath of fresh air to read. I'm quite particular in what I choose to read, half because I'm a slow reader, and half because my expectations are rather high. This story falls into that category. Fury Flame is a fantasy set in a well thought out world with proper world building and structure to its design and fascinating lore to back it (which will become very relevant later on). The story centres on our two leads, Rhea and Connor, both of whom are strong characters of equal mind and willpower. Connor is a leader through and through, a character trope I'm in love with because nothing is quite so inspiring as a personality type that is calm under pressure and knows what they're doing. Rhea is a strong female lead, and when I say a strong female lead, I mean she has a strong mind, one who knows herself and is confident in herself, but also balanced with humility and kindness where due. She's a character who 'punches up', as we often say. Protects the weak and targets the powerful above. It's very difficult, I've discovered, for writers to write a strong female lead without the character being obnoxiously arrogant, or meek and timid and somehow labelled as being strong. Therefore this story demonstrates the author is wise is her analysis of human character tropes and balances personality traits appropriately in a realistic manner. As a result, this wisdom has been applied to many of the other characters in this story from what I've read so far, making for interesting, emotional, and sometimes very heated or incredibly funny dialogues, illustrating the author has a mind for crafting stories with multiple characters, all of importance, rather than just focusing on the male and female leads and a handful of supporting roles who serve no purpose. Keep writing! You're doing excellent!"

"I think this story is amazing! It reminds me a bit of Lord of the Rings as far as how intricate the world-building is and the overall fantasy style it falls in. This isn't the kind of genre I'd really read/enjoy, but for people who DO like this genre, I'd highly highly recommend. The writing is beautiful and super descriptive, and you do really well with having the sound of your writing fit with a sort of other-worldly vibe. We can relate to your characters and their world and situation, but the language and the overall vibe makes it seems separate too which is really cool. Didn't notice anything wrong with the technical stuff, so good job on that. Really high marks, I don't have any critiques really since I will admit I'm not super well-versed in this side of the fantasy genre, as I said, but from what I do know, I think it's really great :) Kudos"
