Warm and cozy
"It feel as if every girl has the opportunity to be in Nati’s shoes in this story. It’s so heart Warming and relatable. The growing of age and discovering herself is so encouraging, I love that she always stayed true to herself and fell in love with Alex because they just have that connection. I love that Alex was so kind hearted and made her feel seen even when she didn’t see herself. I would love to see more adventure of these 2 in the future. There are so many roads they could go. Maybe the trip to Costa Rica. More development with Alex’s family? See them continue to prosper or struggle with the distance of college! Anyway about it, I love them and this story. I love grapes upside down and can’t wait for the updates when they come. Looking forward to more writing from you! ❤️"
A New Refection
"The book is great at bringing back the nostalgia for college and the newness of it all. The author's voice is very genuine and enjoyable to read...definitely some memorable lines and characters. The jump between high school plot and college plot is a quick transition. I'm still hoping to see if Alex comes back again or if he was just the spark that started Nati's transformation. I'm really looking forward to reading more to see what happens."

"Well-written. Compelling, humorous, insightful and poetic. The author masterfully describes her thoughts, sensations and emotions as if we are her closest confidant. Well done. "

"The description of the insecurity and awkwardness most feel in their teens is possibly the best I have ever read. Congratulations, very impressive. "

"The story grabbed my interest from the beginning and with each chapter I felt more connected with the characters and wanted to keep reading. It is an insightful look at the life of a shy high school student, who is quite good at self-reflection even while she feels awkward in social situations. The experiences she has feel very real to the reader. I think the first few chapters felt a little more like an adult retelling and analyzing the experiences of Nati rather than a teenager’s perspective. Though the story feels more fluid and consistent from about chapter 5 onwards. Overall a very fun read. Looking forward to more!"

"Another amazing book from a talented author. Note that this is a mature book in the subtle way the authentic characters navigate a common, yet somewhat taboo situation. Younger readers may miss many of its delicious nuances. Especially fascinating are Nati’s insecurities as she becomes an unexpected target of her crush’s desire. Intentionally or not, the author shows how just a few years out of high school can make a difference in what a man wants in a woman. The whole dynamic is presented in a fairly neutral manner, leaving the reader to decide whether the touching romance is appropriate or predatory. "
