Hello, my name is Alex but I prefer Lex! Today is my 16th birthday, I'm glad I at least remember my first name and birthday! I live with a werewolf pack, they took me in when I was dropped at their border! I was five years old at the time, I don't remember anything before that! It's about 5 minutes till midnight and I'm all alone in the woods waiting to shift, or not shift! I get my answer when I start to feel pain all over my body! So that's what I do, I close my eyes and picture myself in my own body! I feel myself change so I look down and thank god I'm me again! What the fuck am I? I need to talk to the alpha and see if he knows anything!

When I get to the Alpha office, I don't even have to knock because I hear him say "Come in Lex! The door is unlocked." So I opened the door andenter the office. He is sitting at his desk looking thru papers, he looks up at me and says.

"Did you shift tonight? Is that why you hear?" I nod and say."Yes, I did but I wasn't just one animal! I think I can shift into any animal and human! Cause when I looked at my hands while I was shifting they were shifting from paws, claws to talons! I was also a man with a cock, so what am I? "

He looks a little shocked at first, but then he gets himself together and says ."You're an Ancient Shifter! Your kind is supposed to be extinct! They died out hundreds of years ago! I left the office and went back to the orphanage to get some rest! I wonder what will happen now, I feel better knowing what I am though! I hear a voice in my head that says "That's not all you are! Too much information for the day, I need sleep so I can think straight! I turn off the lights and climb into my bed. I lay there trying to sleep, wondering what the Academy will be like and who are my real parents! At some point, I fall asleep.
