Chapter 1
"Ring around the roses." a group of young girls sang as they sang around a rose bush.
There were five of them. The leader, Hinata was a beautiful young girl, with glossy black hair and big, blue eyes. Her right hand girl, Sarah had long blonde hair, you can just tell she could be a model when she's older. Hinata's twin sister, Sakura was just like her except not as pretty. Gemma, daughter of a well known lawyer and Maddie, who could make anyone believe her.
There was a girl watching them. A girl with short blonde hair and pinky eyes. She was holding onto her rabbit. Lost an ear, matted, buttons for eyes. She wished she could play with them but they don't like her. They tease her. Like her older sister does.
But they tease her because she's an orphan. Living in a council flat with only her older sister. Her lilac top was much too big for her, since she only have her older sister's hand-me-downs.
"What do you think Bunni?" She asked, talking to her toy rabbit.
"You want me to talk to them?"
She made the rabbit nod.
"Okay."
She then went over to the five girls who immediately stopped in their tracks. "Oh, it's the creep." Said Hinata, the other girls then laughed along with her.
The girl just ignored them, she still went closer until she said "Can I play?"
The five then whispered to one another.
"We should tell her to go away." Sakura whispered
"I've got a better idea." whispered back Hinata.
They all then turned around, waiting to see what Hinata's master plan was.
"We've just finished our game but we are just planning to play hide and seek." she said, with a grin on her face.
Finally, the girl thought, they are going to play with me.
"I'll be the seeker," Hinata said "and you guys can be the hiders." She then grinned at the others telling them that they should run for a second and go straight back to her.
"One."
The girl then rushed off, she loved hide and seek, she usually had to do that when her sister has a man friend over. Nobody could find her for hours. She then found a bush. Perfect, she thought as she then crawled in.
"I think I can hear our parents calling us girls," Sakura answered.
"Year, wonder how long that silly little girl will be in her hiding place for?" asked Maddie.
"Come on, let's go." Gemma said. And all five then ran off. Back to their parents. Back to their warm, safe home.
The young girl felt the cold reigning towards her. Her boney arms were shivering, she hugged Bunni tighter. Her parents gave it to her just before they died. In a car crash no less. It left the young girl and her older sister completely alone.
It was getting dark, her body was frozen to the spot. Have they given up, she thought as she shivered.
Her eyes then looked up at the stars. They had friends, she thought, unlike me.
Her legs were now stiff, her mouth was unable to speak. Where are they, she thought, where is my sister?
No one came for her.
She hugged Bunni tighter, hoping his warmth would make her forget about everything. But now only her face wasn't frozen.
She thought, they did this on purpose, they wanted to kill me. She then remembered the laughter, her sister's shout, her therapists sharp tone, her teacher. All the people that made her miserable.
She closed her eyes as she then said "I. Love. You. Bunni." Before her heart went to a complete stop.
"..."
A young woman, with long auburn hair found her body early morning, on her stroll. She looked as if she was frozen to death poor mite.
"Who did this to you?" she spoke to herself as she called 999 about the body.
Meanwhile, a young girl was watching her, exactly like the one who died. The woman couldn't see her. Nobody can. That girl was a ghost, holding onto Bunni.
"We'll get our revenge," she said "One person at a time. There are many who made my life a living hell. Let's do this. Together."
