"Wake up Izzy." That was the first words I heard that day. The worst day of my life. I then opened my eyes and then saw my younger sister, Masie, clapping her hands and jumping around. Of course she was excited. Today is our holiday. Our holiday to America. I like that Masie was excited to go, our family had been saving up for years.

Since our other sister Darcy was born, Mom and Dad were saving up, we had a small flat with only two bedrooms which meant that us three girls had to share a room.

I didn't care. At least we had love.

The morning was just as normal, I had my breakfast, I played a drawing game with my sisters. All normal.

Then Mom called out "Girls, it's time to get going." We all then rushed out of the flat and went in the car. Our car may have been old but it was still the most reliable car you can get. Well, in my opinion.

The journey was long but me and my sisters were chatting to one another. About what America will be like.

"It's bigger that UK!" shouted Darcy

"I know that but the times will be different, who knows we can stay up late but not at the same time." Masie said as both of my sisters cheered.

"But we have to be good," I said "Mom and Dad have saved up for this trip since you were born Darcy, count how many years is that."

Darcy then counted her stubby little fingers before saying "Five years! Seven years younger than Izzy, Three years younger than Masie."

"Correct little sister." I said as she then cheered. I was so glad we didn't crash when she cheered. Showed that Dad can ignore loud noises in the car. And Mom too.

After a few hours, we then stopped. We were now at the airport. We each had to hold a few bags. Well, Darcy had her ride-along suitcase but apart from that.

It was so long that Darcy started saying that airports don't seem to trust humans. Because of all the security checks. But after long last, we were on our plane. Me and Masie were sat together, I let her have the window seat. She looked out the window and gasped at everything she saw.

"This is so exciting." she said. Mom, Dad and Darcy were sat opposite us. Darcy too, had the window seat. The flight didn't seem completely full but I could see many people sitting down. I could hear a newborn baby cry. It annoyed me.

And probaly many others too. To be completely honest. I don't know 100% because I am not a mind reader.

When nobody else was sitting down, I then heard a pilot say from the speakers

"Folk, we are taking off, please watch this important safety video."

Our screens from the person in front of us chair then turned on and we watched the safety video. It was boring to be honest but I watched it nonetheless. It may save a life.

Masie was too busy looking out of the window, her light brown hair looked as if they glowed in the sunlight. "We're going to fly!" she then said.

But not too loudly. Only so I could hear.

We've been on the plane for two hours. Masie was watching a princess film on her screen. I was busy reading a book. Mom and Dad were both asleep and Darcy was playing a game on her Ipad.

Everyone was happy. We were flying high in the air, any higher and we could be in space. But if were in space, we could die.

But then the speaker came on, that was odd, I thought, we've got 5 and a half hours until we stop, I've looked it up.

That was true, I looked up flights from London to New York yesterday, just to see how long the flight would be.

"Folks we have a faulty in our plane, we are going to crash in a minute or two."

What, I thought, how can you be so calm while we could be dead in five minutes. We could drown or worse.

The screens then turned off. That was when Masie screamed. One guy then got off his seat as he then shouted "I don't care if I die, better than hearing kids scream."

He then opened an escape door and jumped off.

I always wondered if he survived.

I may never find out.

That was when panic came on board. Screaming, shouting. One old man just took deep breaths and then mumbled some stuff. Probably some Bible stuff. I really don't care about that.

I just tried to cheer up Masie. "It's okay Masie, I'll always be with you, we'll be fine."

"But what if we are not?"

"I swear that we will be okay."

And that was when we crashed.
