Chapter 1
Ginger’s pov
“Finally,” I said as stepped out of the car to stretch “that trip took hours” “It wouldn’t have taken so long if we didn’t have to stop every 15 minutes,” Aolfe said shaking his head with a smile “I’m sorry I can’t control my bladder,” I said shaking my head “nevermind that let’s unpack so I can hurry up and get home,” Aolfe said getting a box from the back “wow you want to leave me that fast,” I said walking to the door.
I unlock the door and stepped into the house. The house had more furniture than it did the last time I went in here “are you the new roomie” a voice said somewhere besides me. I turned to look and saw a guy with short blue hair and black strikes laying on the couch “well are you” he said raising an eyebrow. ” Ah yes, I am,” I said stepping farther into the house ” are you my new roommate” ” no, your roommate is not a people person so I’m here to make sure you’re not going to annoy them” I noted that he said they ‘im guessing there non-binary’ “welp I’ll be on my way now,” he said hoping off the couch “oh by the way my name is Yahya bye-bye,” he said walking out the door. a few seconds pass by of me standing there till I decided to help Aolfe with the unpacking.
I walked out of the house to see that Aolfe had every out of the car. It wasn’t that much stuff but enough to make you tired just looking at it “who’s that guy that walked out of the house” Aolfe asked while giving me some boxes to take inside “he said he’s friends with my roommates” I said turning around to put the boxes inside the house. When I put the box down I saw a door down the hall open and a figure step into the hall I didn’t pay attention to it and assumed that was my roommate as I begin to walk to the door until I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I turned around to see the figure I saw before ‘how did they get here without me noticing’ “is your name Ginger” they asked me with a cold look. “Ah yes I’m Ginger are you my roommate” I got a better look at them they had short black hair and eye so dark it looks like they have no pupils. ” My name is Arum and yes I’m your roommate” they turn around to walk away. I was about to say something when someone hit me on the head “what are you doing I’m not bringing these boxes by myself” Aolfe said shaking his head his long black hair shaking with him. “I was talking to my roommate,” I said turning my head to point at them but there was no one it’s like they disappear “they were here a second ago,” I said turning my head to meet a disappointed Aolfe “come let’s put the rest of the boxes up so I can go and eat”.
Time skip
“Finally done,” I said stretching “I didn’t think I had this much stuff” Aolfe Left a while ago deciding he didn’t want to help me unpack. ” Now what to do” just as I said that my stomach rumbled. “It’s 10:04 pm so it’s too late to eat out,” I said talking to no one “I guess I’ll have to cook,” I said running out of my room to the kitchen “I wonder if Arum is hungry I should ask them,” I said turning around to walk to there room. I knocked on the door expecting an answer put there was none ‘maybe there sleeping’ I thought so I knocked again still no answer ‘maybe they don’t want to be bothered’ I said walking away from the door ‘I’ll just leave a note on the fridge telling them’.
Once I got to the kitchen I went straight to the fridge to see what I’m working with there wasn’t a lot to work with. I reached in the fridge and pulled out a stick of butter and a carton of eggs with two gone ‘maybe I can make pancakes’ I thought going to grab the milk ‘hopefully they like pancakes’
Once I was finished eating I put my plate in the sink. I started walking away to my room then I remember something ‘i need to write that note for Aurm’ I walked towards my room knowing I had a sticky note in my bag. I went into my room and picked up my bag opening it to look for my sticky notes. Once I got them I picked up a pen from my desk and started writing I knocked on your door but you didn’t answer so I made pancakes by myself, there in the microwave Hope you like them (• ◡•)’. I took the sticky and went to the kitchen and put the sticky note on the “there we go now what to do” I said looking around “it’s late I should probably go to bed”.
I got to my room and jumped on my bed ‘I wonder why Arum didn’t open their door’ I thought while I went to sleep.
