The story begins because of one annual game.

Every year a group of friends would hold an annual game, kind of like the Olympics. They call it the game of consequence. Of course, there would always be a winner and a loser.

It is named the game of consequence because whoever is the total loser (last placer), has to face the consequence of losing. Which is usually something daring and bold.

It is important to win first place because he will be the one to determine the consequence that the last placer would do and this could be anything. From climbing a street pole to dancing with no clothes on in front of a crowded place. The possibilities are endless.

However, this year the consequence of losing the game was by far the worst. Why? Because this year is the year the ace did not win the challenge. He lost the game for the first time. Not only has he never lost, but he also always ends up winning the annual game. That is why the others choose a game that is so difficult he will end up losing.

Every year the game has always been about sports. Sports like basketball, baseball, running, water sports, winter sports, etc. Seth, being the ace, always wins the game. His friends were getting tired of it. They also want to win, but most importantly they want Seth to get a taste of losing. They want him to lose so that for once he’d be the one to do the consequence and not the one to plan it. That is why his friends planned to do something that Seth is not good at.

Just like the consequence, the game of consequence didn’t have any rules as to what type of game they could do. In fact, it was open to anything, so they thought. "How about doing something they have never done before?"

The group of friends would always have a poll of what game they should do a week before the game takes place. This year one of the friends volunteered something that is so bizarre, they know Seth will end up losing. They actually already planned this months ago without Seth’s knowledge and they all also prepared for it. On this year’s reunion, the game is going to be one they will never forget. There were only two options and one of them was swimming. As expected, when the poll closed the day before the game, only one of the friends chose swimming as the game. That’s why the other option became the official game of this year. As everyone else was prepared they were not nervous about losing. They planned to set him up months ago so they had months of practice. However, Seth only had until the next day which is not enough. A day is never enough to learn how to bake. Yes, that’s right. This year’s game is baking. Something Seth is not good at.

“Oh, would you look at that!” Danny, one of his friends, said. “The ace is apparently not an ace in the kitchen.”

“You all set me up!” Seth defended himself.

“Bro, what makes you say that?” Noah asked. “We would never do such a thing!”

“You’re just salty ’cause you lost for the first time, Mr. Musician!” Lucas argued. “Or should we say Mr. Losician!”

“What the hell is that?” Danny asked.

“What?” Lucas asked in confusion.

“Mr. Losician?”

“Oh, it’s a fusion of loser and musician together.”

“Nevermind,” Danny sighed then changed the topic to the most important part of the game. “So since I’m first place, you all should bow down to me!”

They all laughed at Danny’s silliness.

“Hey, I’m serious! This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. You should be happy for me!”

“But there is something more important to discuss, right now,” Ben, the tallest friend, said.

“Ben is right,” Aiden, the youngest of the group, said.

“What is it, Aiden?” the older friends asked in unison.

“The consequence!” Ben and Aiden stated.

“Right, we almost forgot about that!” Lucas said.

“I didn’t,” Danny said with a smirk. “I already have a plan.”

The five groups of friends, Seth not included, discussed the consequence, or better yet the punishment, that he should do. The punishment involves some pretty heavy revenge. Well, revenge on the group against Seth. Against all the things he made them do. This consequence is probably the most challenging out of all the things they did and it should only be done by Seth.

Seth, being an overachiever, wants to prove to his friends he can do the consequence. He was not someone who can back down easily. That is why he immediately agreed to it without knowing the challenge.

Sin Island was written in neon lights on the sign outside the loud building. This is the place where Seth will meet his punishment. The other boys were excited, but Seth didn’t know what to feel or even think. As they went inside the building, they heard loud music and saw many disturbing acts happening. The stage was full of guilt and pleasure. It was something very sinful.

“This is your punishment, Seth!” Danny yelled out. “It’s paradise. Isn’t it?”

“What the hell is this place?” Seth, who has ever been to such an obscene place, asked.

“Yo, it’s pretty self-explanatory!” Lucas answered. “Come on, don’t be a baby!”

“Bro, this is it!” Noah told the ace. “Pick one of them,” he pointed at the women on the stage.

“No, Noah!” Danny protested as he faced Lucas with a questioning look. “Lucas?”

“Do you think she’s here?” Lucas replied with a question.

“Who’s here?” asked the other four.

“Seth’s consequence, of course!” Lucas stated.

“You already picked someone?” asked Noah, clueless about what the other two are talking about. “You really prepared for this, Danny.”

“Woah, did you see that?” Ben, who couldn’t keep his eyes off the girls, asked the group.

“See what?” Aiden questioned.

“The woman,” Ben said. “Her face is…”

“Heavenly?” asked Danny. “That must be her!”

“Her? The pretty chick?” Ben asked. “So she’s a…”

“Yeah…” Danny answered before his friend could say anything offensive. “Let’s sit.”

The group sat at one of the tables far from the crowd. As they waited for Seth’s punishment, they ordered a few drinks. They watched as the dancers swayed their bodies and moved to the beat of the music. They were stunned at the things they saw in the room. It was undeniable that it was not the first time Danny nor Lucas visit this place, but it was the first for Seth. He never really goes out much. All his life he was kept in the house. He was homeschooled and the only time he ever goes out is for either the church or sports event. Aside from those two things, Seth lived in an environment where he was protected from the outside world. However, that ended when he finally finished high school. During his college years, his parents finally allowed him to go outside. He was able to go to a college he wanted to go to. He took business management with a minor in music because that’s what his family does. His father is the owner of the largest music company in Asia. He is pretty much one of the most well-respected musicians in history. That’s why Seth is expected to act decently and whatever he is doing now and about to do is definitely something against his family’s principle. He will definitely be in trouble for this, but he couldn’t care less. This is the first in his life that he is able to do something without his parents telling him. He actually hated that, not being able to do what he wanted. He actually hated business. He also didn’t like the idea of being the heir of the company, but he had no choice; he was an only child. Today, he was happy. He was happy because of these five men around him. These people were the reason he was able to survive college life and also the outside world and for that he is thankful.

“Seth! Seth!” Danny was yelling.

“Hey!” Ben said while slightly nudging the boy. “Bro, Danny is talking to you.”

“Sorry,” he apologized. “What is it?”

“That’s her,” Danny said while looking at the stage.

They all looked in the direction that Danny was facing. There they see a girl wearing almost close to nothing. She was different from all the other girls they saw before. She had this incredible charm that will capture your full attention.

As Seth examined the girl, he saw what seemed like a tint of fear in her eyes. However, he shrugs it off thinking he was the only one who notices it and indeed he was. He tries to look away as a sign of respect. He doesn’t know if that respect was for himself or for the girl. The only thing he knows is that he just wants to run out of that place. When the performance ended a person approached the dancer and whispered something then pointed at Seth’s table.

Seth watched as the girl walked closer to their table. He couldn’t deny, the more she gets closer the prettier she gets. Once she gets to their table, he can finally see that what he analyzed before is indeed true.

“You were looking for me?” the beautiful girl asked, in a sultry tone.

Seth watched as the girl and his friends started talking. He can tell that this girl is not like any other girl. Although she looked confident and strong, there is something about her telling him that he should protect her. However, he knows that would never happen.

“Hello,” the girl finally talked to him.

“Hey,” he simply replied. “What’s your name?”

“Heaven,” she answered.

“Is that your real name?” Seth asked.

“That’s what people call me,” she answered with a smile, it was not genuine enough in Seth’s judgment. “Trust me, I’m nothing close to the description.”

“You’re beautiful!” he blurted out.

“I’ve been told,” she confidently said, “but I’m not...”

“Oh, but you are!” He firmly stands by his opinion, so she just changed the subject.

“So here or…”

“What do you mean?” Seth asked confusedly.

“Seth, she means where are you doing it...” Lucas answered.

“I already have a place!” Danny said.

“Alright, I’ll just change,” she said, with a weak smile. “Wait for me in the front. I won’t take long.”

As Danny declared, he does indeed have a place for Seth and his punishment. He rented a hotel room just for that night. When everything was already settled, they all left the boy with the exotic dancer. He wasn’t sure as to what he should be doing because he was not used to this type of setup. It’s not like it is his first time sleeping with a woman, but it is his first time sleeping with a complete stranger.

“First time?” the girl asked.

“Huh, no!” he quickly denied.

“Well, ok.”

Their night went on and Seth was surprised about how good the girl made him feel. Danny was right about her. She does make people feel like they are in heaven. He was really content. For the first time, he let himself sleep next to a complete stranger and he was not worried about what his family had to say. By the next morning, Seth woke up with the ear-splitting sound of his phone telling him that his secretary had been calling him all morning. He quickly answered the phone knowing that he would probably be scolded for being late at work, but he couldn’t care less since he just had the best night of his life. Once the call ended, he looked around the room only to realize that the girl was already gone. He saw a note on top of his now cleanly folded clothes. It says the words, “Thank you for being kind. You were the first.”

He was confused about what the letter meant, but he was sure for the first time in his life that he wanted to meet the girl again. That’s why that night he decided to go to the place again hoping to see the girl again. He told no one of this action.

When he came into the club he immediately saw the girl. He waited until she finished her performance. He doesn’t know why, but he wants to be closer to this girl. Each day he waited for the girl until those few days turned into weeks. However, he still doesn’t care much about the girl, well, not that he actually cared. He just loved the company she was giving him, but most especially the pleasure. However, as for the girl, it was the first time she was ever treated gently by someone. Slowly, she fell for the man, but she knows that was wrong.
