[1] Fuck You Too
|Talia|
There are plenty of people that you may hate in your lifetime, some are friends that did you wrong over time, or it might be family members that snoop into your personal life a little too much.
For some people, they can ignore their hatred for those, but for me, that question is totally out of my mind. Mines would be replaced with embarrassment, fury, and just things I can't even say, let's just say this, I graduate in eight months. I could get through this.
Sitting in my cluttered untamed bedroom that I still needed to clean, I sat in front of my desk where I did all my homework and studied.
"This is worthless, I'll never finish this year without at least failing one class, —I swear these teachers think we have no life outside of school."
Groaning out of frustration I slowly walked over to my bed while scrolling through my phone to find my friend's contact. Quickly finding his name I pressed it automatically going to voice message.
You see, I hate to say this but we got into an argument a few days ago pertaining on the best football player and I realized he was right. BUT, I fucking hate admitting that I was wrong.
He knows that. He knows that I don't like saying other people are right and he is dragging it out waiting for the day. Maybe he will get it and laugh it in my face or maybe he won't and we won't be friends anymore. Who cares fuck you, Theo.
Turning off my phone I started to feel tired with all of this happening, closing my eyes I was about to fall asleep right when someone barged into my room. "Pimple face get the fuck up." Groaning at my older brother's idiot nickname, I still don't know why he calls me that since I took care of my acne once I started 9th grade, I turned my head to face him.
"Get out of my room Daniel!" I turned my head to the side not wanting to see his annoying face.
It was a bad idea not to wait for him to leave because next thing you know he dragged me off the bed by pulling the blanket off with me.
"Stop Daniel— I'm telling mom!"
Right after I said that he immediately left, "She won't believe you if I was never there," he yelled over to me from outside my room after scurrying off, sitting up on the floor I fixed my hair which I left down in some loose curls.
"Hey I heard yelling, is everything alright?" My oldest sister was standing in my doorway looking around in my room, she was only two years older than my brother, which made me, the third youngest and I could never forget my little sister who was born a few years ago, I think she is 2, or maybe 3 I don't remember.
"Yeah, Daniel came into my room ruining my sleep, can you please tell him to stop coming in here Jasmine," scoffing I rolled my eyes.
"I'll see if mom can do something about it," standing up from the floor I picked up my blanket and placed it on my bed again then sat down.
"Anyways, food is done if you want some. You should come down, it's important," turning around she walked away going downstairs. Great now I have to face him again.
Picking up my phone, I decided to just call Theo and confess to him already since I was not in the mood to be lonely at school tomorrow and face my teachers by myself, especially my Italian teacher who makes Italian hard to learn for whatever fucking reason.
He gets me pissed for the tiny things he does to us, like assigning too much homework on days that are supposed to be going well, or giving us tests out of nowhere to "improve" our Italian speaking. You might ask why I can't tell him this face to face, well it's because he is frightening to even look in the eyes.
Leaving a voice message, I walked out of my room heading downstairs to be faced with my family sitting at the dinner table for once, which made me wonder.
What the fuck is going to happen now.
All of us eating at the dinner table, that's a dream come true, except for what happened earlier which ruined my entire mood. Usually, my brother would be in the living room eating his food while playing his games or in his room, which we once shared till my oldest dearly sister moved out to college a few months back, only now returning for the break.
My mom was surprisingly here since she always works night shifts at the hospital. I mean, I should be happy that my mother made a nice dinner after some nights without her being here.
But I'm not, I know the only reason why she is here nowadays is because Jasmine is out of school, she loves her more than us only because she thinks she will have a perfect future ahead of her, and of course, she also has our little sister who I now remember her age which she is 4. Fuck my pathetic life.
Sitting down at the dinner table next to Daniel, I picked up my fork and dug into the roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and seasoned asparagus on the side.
"Well, what's the occasion?" I made sure to sarcastically say it not actually wanting to know the answer.
Jasmine looked up from her plate at my sudden choice of words then shifted her eyes over to my mom quickly looking back down.
I already know something is terribly wrong or mouth-dropping dramatic air gasping good.
"So-
Mom was about to speak only to be cut off by Jasmine. "It's alright mom, I got it." Looking back and forth between the both of them, I could tell the atmosphere was off.
"Dad..." she stopped for a moment to look at mom then continued, "Dad got arrested again, I was the one who found out first, so I thought it was right to tell, you guys."
I stopped in my tracks looking at my mother only for her to say nothing, I wasn't surprised she was a divorced woman, but I knew deep down she still cared for that man knowing that he was her first actual love, everyone kept quiet including Daniel.
Clearing my throat I placed my fork down on my plate and quickly stood up, "I'm not hungry anymore," I smiled which soon turned into a frown while I excused myself from the dinner table, I quickly walked upstairs and into my bedroom with tears forming in my eyes.
It's alright Talia, everything is fine he only got arrested he isn't in jail, everything is AOK.
I tried calming myself down which didn't work leaving me in tears for the rest of the night.
Fuck my life.
Walking into my English classroom, I could see Theo sitting down in a chair with earbuds in his ears. Deciding to seek up on him I quickly ran behind him bending down and placing my hands on his waist.
"BOO!"
"Holy shit!" He turned around to be faced with me "Fuck! Talia, you know my heart was donated by an old man, damn it." He held onto his chest leaving me giggling.
Sitting next to him I took out my notebook and my hello kitty pen from my bag, "So I'm guessing you got my voice message," looking at him from over my shoulder I could see a smile forming on his face.
"Yeah, and I finally caught Ms. Jefferson apologizing to me," he looked over at me while sitting up from his chair, "Please, I was not apologizing, I just confessed that you were right and I was wrong, don't get those two mixed up."
"Oh really, I could have sworn you were saying, oh dear Theo I'm so sorry but I was wrong, and I would love to personally apologize for my actions of accusing you of being wrongfully wrong, and on my behalf," He stopped talking and grinned while coming towards me, "I would like to give you a big ol' hug," he tried to lean into a hug but I moved back a little.
"FYI I do not sound like that, and you sounded stupid right there I hate apologizing and you know that," I punched his shoulder which made him rub his hand over that area.
Mrs. Cambria came in right on time since I wasn't about to hear Theos babbling about how he got me to 'apologize'.
"And with that class is over. Tonight you will have homework that will be due on Friday, and your homework that I assigned for you all to do yesterday is due tonight, have a wonderful rest of the day."
Ms. Cambria left to sit at her desk, which left me to say my goodbyes to Theo.
You see, I don't have him in my Italian class, which sucks since that's the only class I would have wanted his loud ass in, but instead, he gets Trigonometry at this time with his annoying girlfriend who I hate. We both started packing up which I finished first.
Right, when I was getting up he grabbed my arm and placed his finger on his cheek tapping it, Rolling my eyes I pecked his cheek smirking after.
"Bye Theo!" Waving goodbye to him he waved back.
"Bye, tiger!" Walking out of the classroom, I headed down to the second floor thinking about skipping and just going home and watch some true murder documentary.
As soon as I knew it, I was in the classroom sitting next to the only friend I have in this class, Lisa, who I only talked to because she was the nicest person I could find.
"What's up Talia, how have you been today?"
Looking at her I sighed and rolled my eyes, "It was good till I came here, the fucking classroom smells like him, and he isn't even here," taking out my phone from my pocket, I unlocked it already texting Theo so I can escape from this hell hole mentally.
You already know the reason why I hate this man so much, one, he assigns too much homework, two, he is rude as fuck and takes his job way too seriously for no reason at all, and three well three I just dislike him that's all.
Watching girls swoon over him all because of his good well-taken care body, and his straight hair kept up by a tub of gel most likely, or maybe it was his trimmed long stubble beard. Rolling my eyes, right on time the door opened making everybody stop talking and look towards him.
The man walked inside with his perfectly ironed black shirt, a thin black tie hanging perfectly off his neck and black tight pants which really needed to be loosened up a little, you could tell this man loves the color black, his hair flawless like always. He was carrying his big ass folder by his side that nobody needed to carry on their backs 24/7 for whatever reason.
Placing his belongings on his wooden desk, he opened his bag and pulled out his huge water bottle that I think was sponsored by Kim Kardashian or one of the Kardashians.
He cleared his throat after finding me staring at him, he kept a straight face which made me get annoyed already, I turned my head away from him and went back on my phone.
"Ms. Jefferson, your phone please." His deep accent sent shivers down my spine when he called my name, rolling my eyes I looked up at him then scoffed.
"You can't tell me what to do," I whispered under my breath so he wouldn't hear me.
"What was that Ms. Jefferson?" Looking up quickly, I put my phone into my pocket.
"Nothing, sir."
He nodded his head and turned to socialize with the classroom never having a smile on his face or at least a grin, does he love his job? cause it looks like he doesn't, not even when he talks about his language, who wouldn't be excited to teach teenage kids a new language they're not used to.
"Ms. Jefferson can you repeat what Casa means." He placed his hands on my table standing beside me not even looking in my direction.
"Hmmm," come on think we learned this in middle school, "Home???" He cleared his throat and walked off to the front.
"No but you are close, it is house please write that down in your book," he looked me in my eyes then looked away to ask someone else a question, I pulled my short skirt down out of habit when I got nervous.
Fuck this man for suddenly asking me a question without at least giving me a heads up. He just expects me to have an answer just like that.
"That was something." Looking over at Lisa I sighed and put my head down on my table, "I just want this class to be over with."
