"I've enjoyed this story a whole lot! The take on the classic character of the Sandman seemed very refreshing to me as opposed to many other stories centered around this mythical figure. The idea to add those 'crow women' to the mix was also a nice, interesting novelty. I only wish there was a little bit more explained on the background of all these supernatural creatures, but since the ending left quite a loophole for a possible continuation, I really hope some light will be cast on this topic in new potential instalments. Also, having the a 10-year old boy as the main protagonist retelling the entire story from his own unique point of view was an absolutely awesome move! Going through all the feelings, emotions and experiences described from a child's perspective almost makes you feel in his own shoes, reliving all these events with a new kind of fear only a child can have. My only nitpick would be that since this is written in first-person POV, certain lines and phrases seemed to me a little too eloquent and sophisticated to be generated by the mind of a 10-year old. In my opinion, some parts of the text could be simplified to the disadvantage of the literary quality of this story, at the same time making the whole narration seem a little more believable. Otherwise, a tremendous read for anyone who enjoys some good suspense and an excellent addition to a reading list of any horror story connosieur. Really hoping there will be any manner of continuation and wishing you every success with your further writing! "
