Chapter 1
Scientists all over the globe go out year after year, month after month, week after week in hope of finding the next nova, they travel miles and miles in space or via satellite. A nova is a star, a star that suddenly shows a burst of light , a beautiful scene that doesn't last for a very long time period. Just to fade over weeks and months giving out the little amount of beauty they have left in them. For me though, all I had to do was look into the room next to me.
Grace Yuston, born in the local women's hospital. Long ginger hair flowing past her pale shoulders, the sun beaming down revealing her auburn highlights in the beautiful daybreak. Such a regular birth procedure and a regular name. no one could of ever guessed who she would grow up to be.
Nor did herself.
"i see..." i replied hastily. "this seems like a very important first job don't you think, boss?" i liked the fact my boss overestimated me sometimes, but other times it was more problematic then it was complemental. Grace Yuston is a growing star in the world of acting, as many may say. Although my boss seems to think different, he sees her as more as though she could pull off any given caper. I'm not too sure on my bosses history with the tall, slender woman just that it seems as if he has known her for a while even since childhood if i was bold enough to assume. if i'm being completely honest, its gotten me rather intrigued.
My name is Alex Hiyuna and i work with a very classified company, my parents died when i was young and i was taken care off by the locals, my boss being one of them. To repay him for all his kindness i started working with him when i turned 15. I had heard he had just fired one of his most trusted colluges for being a traitor toward the company and that's all anyone ever heard. So i applied for the role and surely enough i got it.
It wasn't what i thought it was though, you see i was told that the company sold and imported goods such as flour and wheat and all essentials such as that, but i was sincerely and utterly wrong.
The company was just a cover up for a larger group. a group of technician's and con artists from all over working together to bring the rich down one by one. Being the oblivious 15 year old that i was, i signed a contract before i knew any of this, i guess you could say i made a deal with the devil. But the worst part, the worst part you ask? is that i don't even regret doing it...
