"This last chapter is edgy, like bittersweet drops falling on a collapsing facade. Tom is starting to justify to himself that Harry does love him, and care for him and points to earlier interactions they had and sees them under rose-colored lenses. He wants to believe Harry loves him, that he is not the same as his "foolish weak witch" of a mother who also came to believe that Senior Tom Riddle loved her and stopped administering the love potion. However, his mind is also subconsciously running through scenarios of what he will do if he is rejected and that if Harry dares to reject him he'll kill him. However, in the same thought he affirms that Harry cannot resist his powerful charms. Tom is beyond infatuated now, ready to engage in full intercourse with Harry having convinced himself now of Harry's consent and attraction (the potion would not be as effective if he was not already attracted to me...O_o) he's gotten Harry debt with St. Mungoes paid off, already views Harry as his possession and wants Harry damaged or undamaged. He sees Harry as his. What I am curious about is when it fully wears off, and it's started to as evidenced by Harry who is no longer as clingy or suffocating in his affections, how will Tom react to a Harry who is not attracted to him? Who despises him? Who is not attracted to males period, but holds a special hatred for Tom? What will he do then? Harry is unable to speak of anything because of the unbreakable vow, will Tom follow through with these new desires? He does not seem attracted to anyone else, and after discovering that Harry is powerful, a special parseltongue like him I don't see him letting go. I am curious about Harry's eyesight. I wonder if it will be better than expected and how this will affect him in turn. Even with the wrong prescription that he had from the Dursleys he would catch the snitch, I think he has developed his other senses to compensate. How much more aware will he be with good eyesight and intuition? And then there's others perception, he was handsome before but without those ugly glasses impeding view he would be utterly gorgeous. More so than canon Tom if you looked at the pictures. I wonder how others will react..."
