1: My crush

My senior year of high school is about to start but before that, my best friend Kevin and I decided that we're gonna throw an epic party to kick start our final year with our friends. Kevin and I have known each other for 13 years, we met in grade school. When Kevin brought me to his house, his parents were so loving and nurturing, unlike mine, just kidding. They took me in as if I were a lost pup. I soon meet Kevs sister and she was the most gorgeous person I'd ever seen, I say person because I was like 5 when I met her. I have had this crush on Kara ever since then and I swear she hates my guts. She treats me like shit. It's really heartbreaking and I think its time for me to move on, this crush is worn out.
I have a younger sister and brother, we're a very tight knit clan. They were more puppies for the Pearsons to take in and they willingly have done so. Isaac and Isabelle have become besties with Kara because they were the same age, 2 years younger than Kev and I. Isaac is my other bestie, we talk about everything and sometimes we clue Is in too. They are the only people alive that are aware of my crush and they've told me multiple times how she's not interested in me. Mom and Dad are very close with all 3 of us, we have family game nights and movie nights during the week to have some quality time. They work their butts of for us and so when they need some quality time, we would all happily cancel our plans to be with them.
I'm feeling optimistic about this party, I just have a feeling that this year would be different and I'll finally have the balls to move on from Kara, I will move on from her dammit. Kev and I would be setting up the lake house tomorrow for the party on Friday. Isaac and Is begged me to bring them along and they guilt tripped me into saying yes. They keep using the fact that I won't be around for much longer, against me. Asshats. I couldn't resist because I was going to miss them so much. It would be such a big change for all of us but soon they'd go off to college too and I wouldn't be too far away. They just wouldn't see much of me. We spent the night playing games, dad decided monopoly was a great game. We had alot of laughs and we robbed each other of money, mom especially. Then when mom and dad clocked out, the three musketeers had a movie night with lots and lots of snacks. We watched all of scream movies and Isaac wanted to watch the fast and the furious, for Paul Walker, RIP to our favorite racer. We only watched until fast 7 because Issac believes that after Paul died, the franchise was done, in his eyes the 7th movie was the last one made. We laughed all night when we finished all of the and they convinced me to find someone new to set my sights on and obsess over. I had a feeling that would actually happen. Just gotta wait and see what tomorrow holds.
