1) As The Rain begins to Settle
As the rain begins to settle
The rain puddles nearly dry
These clouds have cried my previous tears, whilst I hide behind a more acceptable lie
It glimmers in the darkness, with only of the strecks of the lampost.
The clouds a stifled soft pink, tired and calm.
Wind whistles through the bars of the balcony, sparkling the drops left hanging on the black metal.
Like little faires or maybe fallen stars they twinkle.
Forshadowing hope, whipering for us to cope
Lots been done
Lots still to come
Sleep for now
However I find rest a pest
Only prolongs the answers to life's test Believing to be that's why I resist
My feet feel the same chill that wonders outside
Perhaps he too is lost
I am not lost though I know what I know
Today will turn to yesterday as soon as tomorrow turns to today
Sleep is not the cure
Only a temporary treatment we must take, day after day
Just to live onto the next
To hear their screams blur in again or finally find a single solution
Tommorow will come
Somewhat of a tommorow.....
