Promising beginning

"Evelyn is an interesting character, and having her story begin after the death of her family/usurpation of her family's rule (implied to have been some time ago as opposed to recent) is a refreshing change from the typical beginning with the overthrow/coup itself and flight into hiding. Interested to see where this goes."
