Chapter 1: The Bachelorette Night
22 March 2023, 6:46 pm
(Yn’s room)
Yn: (looking nervous) Mom, can we talk for a moment?
Mom: Of course, Yn. What’s on your mind?
Yn: I’m just feeling really anxious about this marriage. I mean, I know it’s an arranged marriage and it’s supposed to be about our companies partnering up, but I’m still worried.
Mom: I understand how you feel, Yn. It’s natural to feel nervous before such a big step. But I want you to remember that we wouldn’t have agreed to this marriage if we didn’t think it was the right decision for both of our families.
Yn: I know, but what if I don’t like him? What if he’s cold or distant?
Mom: I can assure you that his family is highly respected and his reputation precedes him. And as for his personality, well, you never know until you try, right? Just give him a chance and see where it goes.
Yn: (sighs) I guess you’re right. I just wish I knew more about him, you know?
Mom: I understand, but that’s the nature of arranged marriages. It’s not like dating where you get to know the person before making a commitment. But I have faith that you and he will make this work. And who knows? This partnership could turn into a beautiful relationship.
Yn: (smiles) You’re always so positive, Mom. I guess I just need to trust in our family’s decision and hope for the best.
Mom: Exactly, Yn. And I’ll be here every step of the way to support you.
Yn: (smiling) Thank you, Mom. Your support means everything to me.
Lily: (enters the room) Hey, sweetie... Sorry, I couldn’t pick up your call a while ago...
Yn: (still smiling) Hey, Bestie. It’s okay... Just a little nervous, you know?
Lily: (sensing Yn’s nerves) Don’t worry, Yn. You’ve got this. And besides, you’re a catch. I’m sure he’ll be more nervous than you are.
Yn: (laughs) Thanks, Bestie. I hope you’re right.
Zoey (cousin): (enters the room) Yn, how are doing girlll!
Nora: heyaaa This is for you (giving her a letter with a pink rose bouquet)
Yn: (surprised) oh hi ZoNo(hugs them) what is this? (To the letter)
Zoey: don’t you remember that a few months back you shared with us a reel in which it was mentioned about giving letters instead of giving gifts...
Yn: you guys remembered
Nora: (smiling) Of course we did, babe. You’re family and we want you to be happy.
Yn: (feeling grateful) You guys are the best. I don’t know what I’d do without you.
Opens the letter

With love and admiration,
Nora & Zoey
Tears were flowing down from her cheeks. She didn’t have words to say as she was so overwhelmed and lucky to have cousins like them.. the only word which came out of her mouth was thank you which was also not clear but was audible enough. Now she was crying and she hugged them..
Nora: Hey sis, it’s okay
Zoey: It’s the least we can do. We love you!
Nora: We’re always here if you need us!
Zoey: That’s right! You can count on us!
Yn: Thank you so much for being there for me, no matter what. I truly appreciate it and am so grateful for your love and support.
Lily and yn’s mom were also in tears seeing the trio sharing there feelings
Lily: Actually, there is something we can do. How about we all go out for a girls’ night tonight? Get some drinks, dance, and have fun. That’ll take your mind off things.
Zoey: (wiping her tears as well as excited) Yes, let’s do it!
Nora: (agreeing) Sounds like a plan to me.
Yn: (smiling) That sounds amazing, you guys. Thank you so much. I really appreciate it.
Mom: (joining in) And don’t forget, Yn. You can always come to me if you need anything. I’m here for you.
Yn: (tears in her eyes) I’m feeling overwhelmed with the love and support that you always do Mommy whenever I’m in need and I’m so grateful for you too.
Lily: Yahhhhhh!!! Save your tears for your wedding toooo. (Hugs Yn)
Yn: I love you all... My partners in crime...
Zoey: Okay now let’s gooooo...
Y/N was excited about her bachelorette night with her best friend Lily and her two cousins Zoey & Nora. They had planned a fun night out in the city, starting with dinner at a fancy restaurant.
As they sat down at the table, Y/N couldn’t help but feel a little nervous about her upcoming wedding. “Do you guys ever get nervous about getting married?” she asked, sipping her drink.
Lily shrugged. “Not really. But that’s probably because I’m not the one getting married,” she joked.
Y/N rolled her eyes and laughed. “Thanks, Lil. That makes me feel better,” she said sarcastically.
“Don’t worry, Y/N,” Nora chimed in. “Jungkook is a great guy. You’re going to be so happy together.”
Y/N smiled, grateful for the encouragement. “I know, but I just can’t help but be a little nervous, you know?”
After dinner, the group headed to a club for some dancing and drinks. Y/N was having a great time, letting loose and forgetting about her worries for a little while.
As the night went on, they moved from club to club, dancing and laughing until the early hours of the morning.
“I can’t believe you’re getting married in just a few days,” Lily said, swaying to the music. “It feels like just yesterday we were in high school.”
Y/N smiled, feeling grateful for her best friend’s support. “I know. It’s crazy how fast time flies.”
As they left the last club and headed back to the hotel they were staying at, Y/N felt a wave of excitement and nervousness wash over her. Her wedding day was just around the corner, and she couldn’t wait to start her new life with Jungkook.
she also couldn’t help but wonder if everything would go smoothly. She had heard stories of brides experiencing last-minute jitters or things going wrong on their wedding day. She didn’t want anything to ruin the day she had been dreaming of since she was a little girl.
As they settled into their hotel room, Y/N couldn’t help but feel grateful for the night she had just had. It had been the perfect distraction from her worries and had reminded her of the importance of having supportive friends and family.
“Thanks for tonight, guys,” she said, giving each of them a hug. “I couldn’t have asked for a better bachelorette party.”
Her cousins grinned at her. “Just wait until the wedding, Y/N. That’s when the real party starts.”
Y/N laughed, feeling excited and nervous all at once. “I can’t wait.”
to be continued...
