Beat Story Ever
"I absolutely LOVE this story! I love the different twists that come up and how true to life things actually do play out in the storytelling. The magical part is very good and it just leads the reader to hope something like that could really happen. I don’t want to give anything away or ruin anything for any other readers who will love this story like I do so much. I’m 71 years old and still loving this story. Great work by the author. I highly recommend that everyone read this story."

"The fact that this book is not popular is KILLING ME. IT'S SO UNFAIR. I'm happy I got to read it and I wish more people who'd enjoy it would too! ♥️ I'm considering going the whole hog and making reading this book an annual event. ✨ This is a book version of a warm hug indeed! A pretty quick read too. A quick reader would be finished with it in two shakes of a lamb’s tail. So on to the review *Squeals excitedly* Okay hold your horses let me do this professionally, but... First of all, I'll never not be sour on the change of cover from that masterpiece to whatever it currently is. Such a criminal downgrade honestly. The person responsible should be jailed. Unless it's Lilian, then she has to write a sequel. I'm so merciful, I know. Synopsis So the story follows Mia, an outcast, cat lover and the proud owner of the title 'Cat whisperer', as destiny hurls a cute black kitty in her path along with it a mysterious charming boy and it's so hard for them not to hit it off. Mia grows through out the story in a good way, the pacing is perfect and the cat is catting. What's more to ask for? TW/CW ⚠️ Injury of an animal Discussion of a dead pet Harassment, slut shaming and bullying Attempted Rape (For some reason I don't remember any of the negative stuff from my first read and upon second reading still the fluff prevails.♥️ ) The thing is this book is sooo up my alley that I don't have anything negative to say. (Other than that cover.) Once I found this book up on Inkitt, I ran to read it. This book made me depressed for months after having finished it on Wattpad. Of course, I wanted to reread it. The book itself isn't depressing it's so warm and fuzzy but the juxtaposition of that book and my life at the time made it unbearable to live. Definitely rereading this later. So anyways, I set out to mention all the cute moments in this book then I abandoned that quickly because ALL OF IT IS SOOOO CUTE. This is such a perfect and cute book. I confess I want more of them but then again a sequel scares me. How can it be any better than this? It'll have a lot of expectations to live up to UGGGHHHH I AM IN TWO MINDS I'M IN TURMOIL I'M INCONSOLABLE. Lilian, if you're reading this tell me of you'll be writing a sequel fs? I need to rest As far as I'm concerned, the writing is amazing. She used a lot of expressions and idioms relating to animals and I thought they were pretty clever. Ngl I included some in this review lol I honestly half expected to not enjoy this book on a second read and cringe like wth did I used to read but I was pleasantly surprised. It aged gracefully in those 7 years."

"Okay, I'll admit to loving cats, so I was in from the very beginning, but this book actually kept getting better and better! I love it's style, the plot, it's all adorable and sweet and you can really get the feel of the characters. Regarding the style, I've loved the narrative all along the story, it's light descriptiveness is refreshing. And about the plot, it is not overly complicarted, but that is what makes it charming. In spite of it, the plot will have you hooked from the beginning, and the characters are actually round and grow up from the beginning of the story to the end. I especially love how it breaks stereotypes and shows different kinds of relationships, from friends, to flings, to toxic and healthy relationships. It's great to read about a healthy love story, albeit anchored to reality, with its ups and downs. I liked it very much and I especially recomend it to teenagers and young adults, because there are a lot of books out there that don't demostrarte healthy habits or emotional inteligence, but this one does, and in a very beautiful way. Thank you author! "
Bad Luck
"Bad Luck, by Lillian Carmine has been one of my all time favourites on Wattpad when I first joined in 2016. Although I was only able to read up to 12 chapters, the book had me hooked with the amazing, yet annoying main characters, the interesting plotline and the unique way of story writing. I was sad I wasn't able to buy the book, but then an opportunity arose here on Inkitt, and I took the chance. To say the most, I was not disappointed. After reading this book, to say I was even more hooked was an understatement. I loved it! Each main character drew out my emotions, and I was screaming at every chapter (I kid you not), and it was such fun watching their interactions between each other (Lucky and Mia). I also related to the characters a lot and was able to immerse myself in the story quite well. I wish I had a cat to act out the scenes, haha. There were some scenes that pissed me off, and that shows how good the author is at writing stories. I'm so happy! There are a few errors here and there, along with some sentences that seem off (like some words missing). I think you should do a revised check to correct those if possible. Aside from that, I will continue reading and thank you for making this story, Lilli! ❤️ "
