Chapter 1
ARIA
"This way!" Sasha called out and we followed her, unfortunately we were still being followed. "Run faster!"
"who are they?Why are they after us!" I asked Sasha as I increased my speed. She had shifted into her human form after she spotted trouble.
She held my arm as she took a left turn "Treez"
"Trees?" I asked in confusion.
She shook her head in frustration "Treez(Trez)! Not trees they are wild and dangerous people. They are crazy, ask more later right now run!"
"why don't you just kill them!" Tyler shouted catching up to us
Lilah swallowed "They are too many for her Tyler, be reasonable!"
This was our third day on our way to Westeroz, we were almost there but all of a sudden Sasha warned us that we had trouble - lots of trouble. This trouble had daggers and axes as weapons. They were everywhere and we were outnumbered so we had to run.
"fuck!" Tyler shouted as he tripped and John helped him up.
One second we were in a forest the next we were at a clearing with no trees at all. We were exposed but we kept running until there was a loud scream. Amara was being dragged back to the forest.
I shook my head as I tried to go after her but Sasha held me back "No!" I screamed as I watched a blonde man covered in dirt dragging her by the feet.
They all smiled devilishly at us, they were nolonger following us as they stood behind the trees. It's as if that was their territory, their home. Lilah shook her head as John went after Amara "cover me!" he said and Tyler started shooting at them.
He managed to shoot the blonde man's shoulder and he fell. As soon as he let Amara go she kicked him in the face before running towards us. My heart skipped as she got away. She wasn't one of the most favorite people on my list but I had grown to like her. She had grown on me, she was actually my friend now.
"come on!" Lilah called out to John but he stood frozen in his spot.
I widened my eyes as he fell to the ground blood gushing out of his skull with an axe stuck on his head deep in his skull. Lilah screamed as they dragged his body back to the forest laughing like mad men. They all began to whistle as they disappeared into the forest, their whistles echoed, I felt myself shivering in fear. What had just happened...
"we need to move, now." Sasha said and I nodded before taking Lilah with me .
CLARKE
"Who are you? What is this place?" I asked watching the 6 people sitting in front of us in large gold chairs. They looked like royalty. We were in some sort of large hall surrounded by guards. These people had taken us and our weapons.
A lady in a white and gold dress smiled at me."Welcome to Westeroz. I am sorry about how things went but we had to make sure you are human and harmless. You are safe here, we don't harm people unless... they plan on harming us first"
She seemed like she was telling the truth but one can never be too sure. An older man with silver hair nodded "Like Rita said we had to make sure you were human. There are so many dangerous things out there, dangerous people.When we saw the weapons you have and what you came in we weren't so sure of what you were. We have heard stories of the water people and the sky people but never thought they were actually true"
Catherine cleared her throat "you keep saying 'human' why? Is there something else out there?" she asked
"oh there's something out there, beasts ready to rip you apart but that's a story for another day. In Westeroz you don't have to worry about such things. You are safe here and very lucky we found you first" the man spoke.
Jack moved a little in his seat "we are not here to harm you or your people. Yes, we are human just like you and we promise you we will not cause any problems for you but right now we need to save our children. They were captured"
Rita frowned "we cannot let you leave just yet but we will help you get your children back here safely if you help us understand how you made these."she said and a guard brought forward our weapons."such weapons could help strengthen our defense system. You see Westeroz is home to people... People like you and me. You could help us make it stronger with your skills, we saw how well you all can fight"
"how do we know you will actually help us. Are we expected to just trust what you say?" Forbes asked
Rita sighed, she seemed to be the leader or something. Her blue eyes looked at all of us softly encouraging us to trust her "Thomas over here was right when he said you are lucky we found you first, stay for a while and we can help each other. We will help you find your children and you can help us with a few things. How does that sound?"
Thomas grinned "how about you sleep on it and you can give us your answer tomorrow morning. Andrea will take you to your sleeping chambers"
Andrea a tall young man with jet black hair stood up from his seat. He signaled us to follow him and we did. I chose to walk behind everyone else so I could talk to Jack. The hallway was bright and full of beautiful paintings. To be honest Westeroz was beautiful. It's like places you would only read about in Historical fiction novels.
"do you trust them?" I asked Jack
He shook his head "I don't but this is what our people need right now, it will take time..."
"what do you mean?" I asked a bit confused
"eventually Westeroz will be ours" he finished his statement with a smirk
