Chapter 1 - Night terrors
Quilet POV
Six year old me running into the open field to hide from arti and Cassie
(Cassie is castles nickname and arti is Artemis’s nickname.) Giggling as a hear arti yell ready or not I hide behind a big oak three with my fiery red hair blowing in the wind and my blue eyes shining happily.
Hearing a twig snap I turn around and see a big man. Letting out a shriek as he grabs me I scream for arti. “Shut up brat!” the scary man growl at me.
Feeling fear crawl through me a zap the scary man on accident killing him. Crying as I drop to the ground ruining the pretty white dress. “Cece?!?” Arti yells coming towards me. “No ar-” I try tell arti but he ignores me. Touching me sends him falling to the ground. “Arti! Arti!” I sob not seeing him move. “Cece? Oh my goddess arti?!?” Castle comes running up to us.
“Cece it’s okay calm down,” Castle tells me. “I can’t.” I sob not hearing a heart beat. “Stay here I’ll go get mommy and daddy!” Castle tells me running off.
“Please help arti…” I whisper to the moon goddess. I know what I have to do, I have to be like mommy and zap him again. “You can do this Cece…” I whisper to myself.
Touching arti’s chest I zap him. Hearing his heart beat I cry in relief. Feeling the tingles go away I hug arti as I sob telling him I’m sorry.
*end of dream*
Waking up I sit straight, Sweaty with tears running down my face I pull the covers of and go to check on Artemis. Opening his door I see him sitting up. “Come here Cece..” Arti tells me as I climb into his bed snuggling with him.
“Did I wake you?” He ask him, calming down knowing he’s alright. “No I sensed your restlessness.” Humming in response he throws the covers over us. Drifting to sleep I feel him place a kiss on top of my head.
