Spiderman modified

After Jake got bitten by the spider he knew his life won’t be the same anymore. He had always hide his identity. Again new school new faces to handle with. Biology was going to start.

“You must be Jake. Welcome. You can sit down there.”

Jake nods and goes to sit down in a long table for two people. After a long moment he heard the teacher saying again:

“You are late.”

“Sorry, I got lost.”

Jake saw a nice girl with simple clothes, nice brown curly hair as her eyes.

“And you are..”

“Freya.”

“Go to sit down where that guy is.” Said the teacher watching to Jake’s direction. She nodded and obeyed during other students were laughing at her, it made Jake so annoyed during she was trying to don’t mind them.

“So nice to see you all in this laboratory of biology. Today we are going to analyse our onion.”

Some students started to make sounds of complain.

“But before that, there is a special test to do.” All students now were more shocked than surprised.

“What? That’s not fair teacher! We’re not prepared for it.” Said a student behind Freya.

“Don’t worry. I just want to see your knowledge about this subject. Just the basic. To have an idea of your situation and then find a way for everyone to be almost on the same level.”

Freya already was feeling that she is going to fail, that subject was the hardest for her, the opposite for Jake, he was excited about it but didn’t show it. When they finally received the test, all the words seemed of an unknown language for Freya during her peer was calmly writing, she felt more discouraged than usual. Finally when all finished the exam, the teacher said:

“Only because this is a trial test, I won’t correct it. But we will correct it together with some explaining.”

To each explaining of the teacher Freya was writing a lot, the opposite of her peer that was listening carefully to his words with pleasant.

“Now please tell me all your total points.”

The teacher was calling one by one of the students and each one was saying the points of the test, many were good points, some enough to pass, and a few didn’t pass, and between those Freya was counted too, excepted for her peer that obviously was at first place.

“Alright.” The teacher started again. “For those that find the subject very hard, you’ll be sided by those that are very good about this subject to be able to be as I said on almost the same level.”

Then the teacher started to move some students places to others as he planned to do so the smartest ones had to help those that weren’t. All were moved except for a few, Jake and Freya were included in these last ones.

“For those few that I didn’t move,” said the teacher “it means that they don’t need to. They already have the correct partner to trust with.”

‘Partner to trust with?’ Freya started to feel embarrassed and humiliated for that thought for showing her weakness on that subject.

“Perfect. Now that the places are made correctly,” continued the teacher “as I said before, we are going to analyse our onion and after that, I’ll give you some research to do as assignment to do with your peer.”

The teacher gave to each student a piece of onion.

“You go first.” Jake said to Freya moving close to her the microscope.

“I don’t know how…”

“Just describe me what do you see.” Jake interrupted her.

Freya nods. She starts to describe him and he tells then her the name of that and explains to her.

“Oh, now it’s more clear. Thanks.”

Jakes smiles at her, her hair so long and light brown as her eyes made her interesting for him, as for her his deep green eyes and brown short hair.

“Hi, Jake, right?”

A blonde girl in front of him turned around to him. ‘Obviously’ thought Freya already feeling annoyed, ‘that always happens. Better if I go. The lesson already ended.’ When Jake saw Freya moving away he wanted to chase her. Freya was on her way home, watching news as usual to make sure that spiderman was alright despite she doesn’t feel such a great help in case of emergency.

“Three bad guys escaped from prison,” was saying the news “ for robbery. They seem they found an expensive shop as their target but spiderman already got their plan.” Freya smiled. “But they seem too strong even for spiderman. Hope the police can help him.”

‘Dang it.’ Thought Freya. She started to run going behind some building, away from the many people to then disappear from their site. She started to run. ‘Gosh, I need something. Anything that goes faster.’ Then she found a bike and soon took it disappearing with her. ‘Sorry, I will give it back to you soon. I have to help someone in difficulty. Please, spiderman, be strong.’ She was riding the bike as fast as she could praying in her mind to make it on time during she was following the directions of those bad guys. Finally she was close to them, she was able to hear their voices:

“You spiderman? Please, neither can put ko all of us.”

Freya heard other laughs, she felt much more annoyed. Freya was able to finally see them, spiderman looked very tired and hurt keeping held by other big two men during the other one in front of him was pointing him with a gun. Freya felt so much scared.

“Say goodbye spiderman!” he said charging his gun.

‘Noo!’ Screamed Freya inside her mind. Soon she punched on his neck making him feeling suffocating.

“What’s going on, chief?” said one of the guys that was keeping spiderman.

Freya hits then his eyes with her fingers to make him able to not see and she does the same with the other two guys that fall on the floor as the first one, Freya had a weird feeling to be watched. Jake was able to see her and was more than shocked. Then him and Freya started to give some punches and kicks till finally the police came to bring them to prison. After one of them thanked spiderman for his help, Jake nods and goes in the direction of Freya.

“Didn’t your mom teach you to don’t get involved in dangerous stuff?”

Freya was shocked and before to grab the bike, she turned to him.

“You can see me?”

“Of course. I’m spiderman.”

Freya was shocked about that.

“You’re a simple student. You shouldn’t get involved in things like these.”

“You seem also from your voice, appearance and attitude.”

“Really?” Jake smiled at her.

“But what you do is important..”

“You think so?” Jake was looking at her deeply wishing to spend more time with her.

“Sure. You save, protect people. You give hope. It’s what all we need.”

Jake smiled at her.

“You do more than anyone else could.”

“Not really, if it wasn’t for you today..” Freya smiled at him. “Thank you.” Freya nodded. “How can I pay you back?”

“No, needed. Well, oh, I have give back this bike..”

“No, problem. I’ll do it. You got the privilege of a great way to come back home.”

“What do you mean?”

“Me.”

“Oh” Freya started to feel very embarrassed. “I can’t do that.”

“Why not?” Freya showed her hands to him. “Oh better for you to go to the hospital.” Freya nods. “There is one over there.”

“Thank you.”

“Hope to don’t see you again.” Freya was going on the way to the hospital when she turned to him when she heard that. “You know what I mean.” Freya nods. ‘Yes, got it. Away from dangerous stuff.’ She thought.

After the doctor visit, Freya came back by bus having bandages covering most of her hands. She had the weird feeling to be watched again. Then she finally came back home feeling happy to have done something great for the first time in her life saving spiderman’s life. Jake did the same feeling more interested to know Freya more.
