CHAPTER 00

Stella stared blankly, looking around the room she was currently in.

It wasn't too big, but she couldn't tell it was small either.

Her mind went blank and she couldn't remember anything.

No matter how much she tried, it didn't work.

Slowly, she got up off the so-called floor, though she wouldn't call it a floor.

She was so-called, suspended in a vacuum, which wasn't the right word.

If she had been in space, she would have been dead long ago.

And yet she was alive and well... But are you sure?!

Soon after, she reached the end of the rectangle she was currently in.

She had more questions than answers, which made her even more depressed.

She had no idea how she got to this place.

Which irritated her a lot, but as much as the fact that she couldn't remember anything other than the word "Stella".

Though she couldn't be sure it was her real name.

She sighed heavily and carefully placed her hand on what looked like a wall.

She had absolutely no idea if it would do anything at all, but her hand met a smooth surface, slightly cold to the touch.

"What the...?!," was all that came out of Stella's mouth, just after she noticed how the white wall began to lose its color.

As if by the touch of a magic wand, she slowly revealed what was behind the wall.

She didn't even notice when the rectangle turned into a square because she was too focused on what she was beginning to see through the wall.

For a moment she could see nothing but darkness before she began to take on various colors.

As a result, she began to have the impression that she was in outer space, but it couldn't be true!

Then where was she now?

She wasn't able to discover that at the moment, and that annoyed her.

Slowly, the memories began to come back to her, and she began to realize that she had just begun the ceremony of summoning her guardian.

And she was in a world called Utera, where magic was normal.

She had to close her eyes for a moment as the last moments of her past life flashed back to her.

Tears streamed down her cheeks, unable to understand how this had happened.

She remembered that, as usual, she left the house to do some shopping.

On her way back from the store, she felt the ground shift beneath her feet.

The next thing she remembered was that she was in complete darkness, unable to see where was up and where was down.

Even then she felt that there was no way she would return to the world she was allowed to live in.

"Don't tell me I'm dead again!," Stella whispered softly, watching the darkness turn into something like a starry sky, which wasn't the right word.

She couldn't define what she saw because it looked nothing like a galaxy.

As a result, she couldn't take her eyes off it.

No wonder her soul was much older than the body she currently possessed.

Just like yesterday, she remembered the conversation with Beltix, who took care of the world in which she had been reborn.

Not to mention the man who had snatched her from the clutches of creatures that ate the souls of travelers from other worlds.

Souls that fell between dimensions and, like her, could not return from where they came.

Just remembering these creatures made her sick and it took her a while to get over it.

"You can be sure you're not dead! I didn't expect to meet you again so soon!," After a while, she heard a male voice in her head, which for some reason was very familiar to her.

She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't even notice how close the square in which she was now approached a gigantic face.

A pair of golden eyes stared at her, adorned with navy blue and gold lashes with a touch of silver.

"Kyah!," Stella gasped as her gaze met the eyes staring at her and the outline of her nose.

Here and there, she could also see silver-gold-navy blue hair falling down his face.

She couldn't see the mouth, but she felt he didn't need to use it to communicate with her.

She sat down on the so-called floor to notice a hand as bright as porcelain, which had to hold the square in which it was located.

Now she could more or less tell how gigantic he must have been, and how small she was in comparison.

Her small body trembled with fear, because she didn't know what his intentions were towards her.

"W-What did you mean by "you didn't expect us to meet so soon"?," Stella asked after a moment, not really understanding what he meant.

Though for some reason, she felt as if they were bound by an invisible bond that was invisible to the naked eye.

It's as if they were meant for each other and neither of them could exist without the other.

She knew it was pretty ridiculous, but she couldn't help it.

"You really don't remember what the Goddess Beltix told you before you were reincarnated?," he asked with a hint of sadness in his tone of voice as he heard her words.

At that moment, Stella froze, and that was because she remembered what she had told her.

Even more so that he almost lost his life saving her soul from being eaten and had to merge with her to stabilize her.

Which amounted to him becoming her guardian, which was unthinkable to his council.

"Sorry, I only remembered after your words!" It's because of me that you lost your life and duty!," Stella replied after a moment, feeling terrible about it.

"If I hadn't, I wouldn't be talking to you now, would I?" And even more so, you wouldn't be able to be reborn in another world, would you?," he asked after a moment, moving his face slightly away from the square so as not to stress her so much.

"You're absolutely right about that, but I still don't feel comfortable that you've become my guardian because of this...," Stella said after a moment, not feeling comfortable with it because she felt that he had not planned something like this.

"You don't have to feel that way, in fact, I haven't been able to find a place for a long time, and I felt like my existence didn't make sense until I met you," he explained after a moment, trying to convince her to change her mind about it.

At first, Stella thought she had heard wrong, but after his facial expression, she realized that she had heard right.

"Actually, I thought the same thing before I met you and the world just got colorful...," Stella remarked after a long pause, realizing it only later.

It was only then that Stella managed to see him better, because until then she hadn't.

Not to mention that she noticed something like wings behind him, and not just any kind, but butterflies.

Until she made eyes like dinner plates, unable to believe that she had contact with such a wonderful creature.

His beauty she could not describe, although he could be mistaken for a woman.

From what she'd read, in their race, it was the order of the day, only humans had a problem with it.

For her, who loved this type of androgynous beauty, she had no problem accepting him as he is.

It took a few moments for her to realize what she had been thinking.

Especially since her gaze began to slide down his neck, beginning to have naughty thoughts.

Thoughts that a normal seven-year-old shouldn't have, but as you know, Stella wasn't.

"Ahem... I know what you started thinking, but you'll have to wait until you're eighteen with that!," He grunted after a moment, getting a bit red in the face because he felt her Poles' eyes on his body.

Then Stella's face blushed from ear to ear.

She was terribly ashamed of what she had just done and wanted to dig a hole and hide in it.

She'd never felt the way she did now, because up until then, she hadn't been attracted to men.

Doesn't mean she was a lesbian!

Of course, she had nothing against lesbians, but she didn't feel that way about women.

It was obvious that she simply did not find her other half then.

And coming back to reality, she had to quickly change the subject or else she wouldn't be able to look him in the eye.

"By the way, what's your name?," quickly changing the subject of Stella to break the awkward silence that had developed between them.

Because she didn't really remember his name, but she didn't want to seem forgetful.

He then looked at her and before he spoke he disappeared for a moment, leaving her alone.

To reappear in a moment as a boy of the same age as her.

"Call me Parados!," He held out his hand to her, waiting for her to shake it.

Stella took a step back when she saw him up close.

It took her a moment to process it and squeezed his hand.

"Nice to meet you, Parados, in this world call me Stella Leblanc!," Stella replied after a moment, also introducing herself.

"Nice to meet you too, Stella, but it's time for you because it's time for you to come back to reality!," Parados noticed after a while that the world they were in began to crack.

"That's it, it's a pity...," Stella grumbled dissatisfied, not wanting to leave this place.

"Relax, the summoning was successful, so you will see me in the form of a small butterfly! I'll explain everything later, now get back to yours!," Parados added after a moment, realizing he had no other choice.

Soon after, Stella was seized by a momentary darkness, only to hear the voices of the high priestess and her nervous family a moment later.

Then she realized that she had already returned from that place and slowly began to open her eyes.

In her hands was a tiny, innocent-looking butterfly.

Sparkling like navy blue glitter with a mix of gold, silver and a black rim.

No one in the world would say that he is a "Stellar Butterfly", or rather a "Stellar Fairian" who has been protecting worlds and beings from evil for centuries.

She smiled softly at the sight of him, knowing that she had finally found the one.
