the beginning
I sit in the dark taking in the musty sent of dust. The ceiling is high and the walls are thin. I watch and I listen to everything, I know everything about her, her favorite pair of socks, her favorite band, her past boyfriends, her favorite movie as a kid, and the way she dances when she thinks no ones watching, but I'm watching. My name is Veronica and I have lived in this house my entire life. I believe that I'm 16 or so since I stopped counting when I was 12. I lived here with my parents until they told me I was sick and left me in this house all by myself. They told me they'd come back but they never did it's been 8 years or so since they left me in this house. I sat alone all by myself in this house and only hiding if people came over to try and buy it, but one day she moved in. Her name is Rose, she had originally had brown hair that was now dyed red, deep brown eyes, a button nose, a nose piercing, and rosy cheeks. I love to look at her, to observe her. She has become my obsession. I know her and all her flaws but she's still beautiful to me. I love the way she smiles and giggles while on the phone with her friends, the way she puts up her hair, the way she curls up and holds her plushies to tightly to her chest when she sleeps.
