This book will hopefully be a part of a 3 or 4 book series, I’m not sure as yet. I’ve got a ton of ideas and not enough time.

This story was originally a drabble that I wrote i half an hour. Because I liked it so much I decided to draft a plot and start writing.

Now, I’m a one person team, therefore updates might be once or twice a week. Or a month...or three. It doesn't matter though cause the main thing is, I will post as I go along. Hopefully I'll be organized in that department.

Now on to the actual disclaimer. This was just a ramble.

This is an original story that was thought up and written down by yours truly. Everything from the plot line to the characters and even the ants are from my...seriously unstable imagination.

All characters are fictional and any resemblance to any person or place is purely coincidental.

Summary

Welcome to Neon City.

This is a futuristic city founded by Dr. Baldwin James, a world renowned neurophysiologist and Ai enthusiast, in 2518.

Neon City has evolved from being a dot on a map to the world's largest city. Sentient robots, Ai and humans coexist. Here, Virtual reality and reality blur together, making anything possible.

Neon City is divided into 4 hierarchies: Regium, Nobiles, Medii classis and Rustici. Reguum us the highest class and is composed of the families of the leaders and descendants of the founder, Nobiles are the sector Presidents, Medii Classis are the Merchants and Rustici are the public servants.

The official currency is cache or credits.

Rules.

Child bearing is strictly monitored. Unless special permission is granted, each couple is only allowed to bear 1 child. Should they turn out to be twins, a special analysis will be conducted to determine whether the other child should stay or not.
You are assigned a partner at birth based on when you were born and other factors. It is yours and your partner's duty to coplulate and bear one child by atleast 30 years old. Failure to copulate with assigned partner will result in consequences.
It is mandatory to renew your DNA sample every month.
Extreme feelings and/our outbursts must be reported for further study on how to manage it.
Any body modifications not found to be registered under NC;L17, will be forcibly removed.
All netizens must have a valid Identification Number or you will be considered an outlaw.
If found to be an outlaw, you will be put to death
Failure to comply with the above mentioned rules will be met with severe consequences
