Losing Oneself
In the-depths of losing oneself,
A struggle to recognize who you've become,
Seeking the splendor in the world's embrace,
Yet, the ability eludes, and darkness has won.
Fighting fiercely for those who hold you dear,
But, alas, finding failure's cruel embrace,
Torn from the realms of reality's grasp,
Aching agony, where no solace you can trace.
The sense of loss, profound and vast,
An unfathomable void, hard to overcome,
Yet in the shadows, hope might be found,
A flicker of light, to help you become one.
