Chapter 1
A small space freighter was flying through endless space. Through the glass, two people onboard were arguing. They were a male and a female, both 17, the boy with blue hair and deep sea blue eyes, wearing a short sleeve white top with a blue zip-up jumper on top with black trousers, he was tall and in shape. This boy was called Tetsu, a martial artist from Earth-66. Accompanying him was a female with long black hair with green eyes, her skin was blue and she wore a chic short pink dress with black patterned tights, she was short and had a slim build. Her name was Emma, a singer from Zendoth, a planet not too far from Serenas.
“What’s taking you so long, I was supposed to be in Brullee two hours ago!” Emma complained.
“Like I said! I’m not a navigator in this area, I’m simply following the GPS!” Tetsu shouted back.
“You dare raise your voice at me, I am giving you a negative review and we’ll see how long you-”
Emma was talking when something suddenly hit the ship. Tetsu pushed her back and sat in the command control area to figure out what hit them. It was a boy, the same age as them, he had short black hair with brown eyes, and he was wearing a red torn up short sleeve shirt, a long black and red scarf wrapped around his neck. The scarf had two red lines with strange writing inside the red lines. He also wore black baggy trousers, he also had a tattoo of the sun on his right shoulder.
“What the hell!?” cried Tetsu.
“What are you doing? He needs help!” Emma yelled out as she stormed into the room.
As they brought the boy inside the ship and laid him down on a bed, Emma took out a first-aid kit and began treating his wounds while Tetsu watched.
“Is he gonna be ok?” Tetsu asked.
“Surprisingly, any normal human would have died with those wounds,”she said as she finished bandaging his body.
“He’s a tattoo host, that’s probably the reason why,” Tetsu answered, crossing his arms.
“A tattoo host?!” she answered as looked at him.
“You don’t know what a tattoo is?! Tattoos first appeared twenty five years ago, After “The Revelation,” Comets passed the galaxy and scattered all around the galaxy. The tattoos were found in stones broken off from these comets and they attached themselves to the host holding the stones, the strength of the host depending on the size of their tattoo,” Tetsu explained.
Emma looked at the boy’s tattoo once again. “Isn’t it a bit small?” she asked.
“Indeed, A tattoo like that will get him nowhere, he’s no different than a normal civilian,” said Tetsu as he walked away.
A few hours later the man woke up, looked around but couldn’t recognise where he was. He got up slowly and was sneaking towards the control centre, where Tetsu was sleeping on the chair. The man slowly walked towards them, they were weary. Tetsu woke up only to find the tip of the man’s spear on his throat, as he slowly turned to look at him.
“One move and my spear will pierce through your throat and you’ll bleed out. So tell me, who are you and where am I?” the man asked.
“Why should I answer to some kid, have you ever taken a life before?” Tetsu answered.
Suddenly Emma walked in with a bowl of chicken noodles.
“You’re awake!” she shouted excitedly, the man turned to look at her and Tetsu took the opportunity and pushed the spear away with great force, he quickly took a stance.
“Martial reign first form… Explosive fist!”
Tetsu shouted out as he rushed toward the man and launched a fast and powerful jab, the man quickly retracted his spear and put it in his back pocket. To counter the punch that came at him, he took one step back and turned slightly, dodging the jab, he then used Tetsu’s arm as a stand and flung himself in the air and delivered a high kick, Tetsu put his arms together and blocked, the man’s kick was heavy, Tetsu almost went on one knee but held on and pushed the man back.
“You’re not half bad kid, come at me!” said Tetsu, taunting the man.
Just as the man was about to charge, Emma, cut in between shouting out, “Stop!”
They both stopped and turned to look at her.
“Is that any way to treat the people who saved you?!” she scoffed.
“Huh, saved?”
“Yeah, without us you’d be dead,”
The group sat down around a table with chicken noodles, and the man bowed and introduced himself.
“Sorry for the trouble, thank you for saving me!” he apologised.
“As long as you understand,” said Tetsu with an attitude.
“So what’s your name?” Emma asked.
“My name is Hunter Bang Etsu, I’m a pirate,” Etsu answered, smiling.
“Uh! A pirate? Where’s your crew?” Tetsu asked.
“Don’t need one!” he answered jocularly.
“Where’s your ship?” he asked.
“In a black hole!” Etsu answered confidently.
“That's nothing to be proud of, you're a pirate without a crew or ship, you might as well quit,” remarked Tetsu coldly.
“It's fine, I can always find crew members along the way, as for ships, I can always steal another one,” Etsu answered.
“In any case, we’ll go to Brullee together and then each of us goes our separate ways.,” Tetsu explained.
“Now that that's sorted. Let's eat!” said Emma as she served them.
“Thank you for the food!!” both Tetsu and Etsu shouted out, stuffing their mouths with noodles.
“Tasty!”
“Amazing!”
They shouted out, gouging down the good like there was no tomorrow. Emma smiled as she watched them eat.
A few hours later their ship finally entered Brulle’s atmosphere, they landed the ship and Tetsu showed his adventure ID card and reason for visiting Brullee and the inspectors checked the ship before letting them pass.
“Security sure is tight,” said Tetsu with his hands behind his head.
“That's because of the incident that happened two years ago, a raid by a pirate known as ‘Blue Devil’ almost destroyed the whole planet,” Emma explained.
“A pirate with the power to destroy a planet? That's awesome!” said Etsu, smiling.
“Crazy bastard!” said Tetsu as he looked at Etsu smiling and getting all excited himself.
They walked around the planet, exploring and admiring until they reached the stadium where Emma’s concert was to take place. The stadium was packed with people, all excited to see Emma.
“Etsu, brother, you should stay for the show,” said Emma as she ran to the stage while Etsu and Tetsu joined the crowd, the crowd cheered, waving glowsticks in the air and screaming.
Emma was singing and dancing while the crowd jumped and waved the glow sticks in sync with the song.
“That angelic voice! I love her,” drooled Tetsu, his eyes fixed on her, Emma continued singing when red smoke was shot from the cannons placed around the stage, the smoke spread to the front rolls and everyone who inhaled it collapsed.
“Something’s not right,” said Etsu with a firm gaze.
The gas began to spread throughout the stadium and bodies began to drop, Etsu quickly ripped a tissue from his clothes and covered his mouth and nose.
“It's sleeping gas, cover your face,” Etsu yelled out as he ran onto the stage but it was too late, Emma was gone. Tetsu rushed to the stage, he clenched his fist while biting his lips.
“Damn it! I let her get kidnapped right under my nose,” said Tetsu as he sat on the ground.
Etsu fell to one knee, observing the stage.
“Don’t lose hope yet, I can track them down” said Etsu as he stood up.
“Really? Why help me?” asked Tetsu as he got up.
“Consider it a thank you, for saving me. Come on, the tracks won’t stay forever,” said Etsu as he began to run, Tetsu followed.
Etsu and Tetsu ran through the streets hoping from buildings to building, following the trail before it disappears, they kept running until they reached a big abandoned warehouse, the entry of the warehouse was guarded by guards with guns, Etsu and Tetsu were sitting on top of a building, watching them.
“She must be somewhere in that warehouse, we just need to sneak in and get her ba-” said Etsu when Tetsu suddenly jumped down the building and ran towards the guards.
“What are you doing!” snarled Etsu as he watched him.
Tetsu stood before the guards and took a deep breath. The guards approached him.
“This area is off-limits, kid, turn back unless you want a hole in your brain!” commanded one of the guards condescendingly.
“I’m here to collect a singer that you kidnapped!” Tetsu answered confidently.
“You must be looking for death. Light him up boys!” one of the guards shouted, as they all pointed their guns at Tetsu and opened fire. As bullets flew towards Tetsu it seemed as if time had slowed down and Tetsu could see the trajectory of the bullets clearly, he caught the bullets with a smooth yet quick strike, opened the palm of his hands and the bullets dropped down to the ground. He rushed towards the first guard and kicked him on his chin, he then turned around, delivering a spinning kick to the other guard, the third guard panicked and become to shoot aimlessly, slowly walking back, in a split second, Tetsu dodged in front of him and swatted the muzzle of the gun up into the sky. The third thug was punched in the stomach and lay on the remnants of the main door.
Etsu sighed as he held his head. He then jumped off the building and climbed through the top window of the warehouse, he easily snuck in and began searching for Emma while Tetsu walked right through the entrance and fought his way through with countless guards. Etsu was moving in the shadows, checking room after room, trying to find her.
“If I kidnapped someone, where would I keep them? It would be an isolated and heavily guarded room, like an underground volt, or a basement,” thought Etsu as he ran around looking for the most guarded place.
Etsu continued his search until he found a steel door guarded by five men, each armed with guns.
“This must be it. The entry to the basement.” thought Etsu as he looked down at the five soldiers.
Etsu took a smoke bomb out of his back pocket and threw it down, filling the entire room with smoke.
“Intruders! Stay alert!” one of the guards shouted out.
They all began to look around, pointing guns at each other trying to find the intruder, Etsu suddenly appeared behind one of the guards, he put his arm around the guard’s neck and pulled him into the smoke, the other guard quickly turned and began to shoot rapidly until he ran out of ammo.
“Did I get him?” he asked when Etsu emerged from the smoke and grabbed his arm, he then used his elbow to hit the guard in the space between the upper and lower arm and made him drop his gun, Etsu then grabbed his face and bashed him on the ground, he quickly vanished in the smoke once more, he continued the same process, hunting down the guards one by one until they were all out cold. Etsu cracked his knuckles as he walked towards the steel door, he took out a lockpick from his back pocket and opened the door.
As soon as the door opened, Etsu was welcomed by 20 more with their sights aimed at him.
“Umm, looking for the toilet?” said Etsu, smiling awkwardly.
“Ay, ain't it this kid!” shouted one of the men in the back.
“I guess ninja play is over!” said Etsu as he smiled, the guards shot at him, and Etsu jumped and punched one of them in the stomach he then turned around and kicked the other in the face, and another shot at him, he quickly dodged and tripped him onto the others. Etsu fought his way through, smiling and laughing, while single-handedly beating them up.
“Where did this fucker come from? We don’t stand a chance!” Despairingly the thug at the back cried as he turned and tried to run, but Etsu noticed him, he quickly took out a small stick and it enlarged, turning into a spear, Etsu took a stance and gripped the spear tightly.
“Thermo style…” he said as his hands began to smoke up, the spear quickly heating up and turning red. “... Red Spear!” Etsu shouted out as he launched the spear, the man was running away when he suddenly felt something fly past his head, he dropped to his knees as the spear passed him at full speed, and a huge crack appeared all over the wall, the man was shaken to his core.
“Where do you think you’re going?” said Etsu as he suddenly appeared behind him, staring at him with bloodlust.
“Hiick, forgive me!” The man cried out as he bowed, offering his keycard. “This is for the cell your friend is in, please don’t kill me!”
