Chapter 1- Fellob

I woke up in a wooden cabin, on a bed, all alone. It was the middle of the night, "Thud. Thud." I heard loud footsteps from outside my room. I took up my axe, and slowly opened my door.

To my horror, a tall, dark, slenderly figure was waiting outside. It had no eyes, nor face. It had long black hair. I swung at it,

before it took me up, holding my head.

Just as it was about to strike at me, I woke up. It was all a nightmare. God, that nightmare was creepy as hell. Little did I know, that nightmare would turn into reality.

I looked at the time, it was 6am. I had plans with my friends to go to a little town called Fellob, located near San Francisco. I was supposed to meet my friend's at 8am, and so I set out, casually dressed.

I arrived at the meeting place, at sharp 8:07am. I see my friends, Jake, and Emily, waiting for me at the parking lot. Inside the car, I spot Natalia, Micheal, and Christopher waiting inside the car.

"Elias!" they shout out at me. I greet them, and head inside the car. We drove off fast, in a black jeep, having the time of our lives, without a worry.

"Hey, you look dull, are you good?" Natalia asked me. "I had a- Huh, I forgot. Oh well," I answered back. By this time, I'd forgotten about the nightmare, and that turned out to be my worst mistake ever. If only I hadn't forgotten about it, nothing would've ever gone wrong.

My friends, Michael and Christopher go to sleep in the back of the jeep, as they'll be the ones driving during the night.

"Hehe," a voice laughed. "Huh? Did ya'll hear that?" Jake asked. "No. Now shut up and drive," Emily replied. "Ah, sorry about Emily, she's just a bit mad that you took the last bit of beer," Natalia said.

"I'll buy some more beer once we stop at a gas station," I said. I should've realized it at that time, but what I should've realized is for you to find out.

"Ayy! Thanks Elias!" Emily cheered in joy.

A few hours later, we stopped at a gas station and I went in to buy some beer. I grabbed some and checked out.

"Where are you headed to?" the cashier asked me. "Fellob," I replied. I made my way back to the car, and we had our lunch.

After a while, we ran out of gas, and so Natalia went to the back to grab some containers and fill the car up. A car flashed by her, driving at full speed.

"BASTARD'S!" she shouted out loud. She immediately hopped in and ordered Jake to overtake the car. Jake, without hesitation, zoomed past the car at full speed.

A few hours had passed, and it was already 8pm. We woke Christopher and Micheal up, and had our dinner. Christopher got ready to take the wheel and let Micheal take some rest before it was his turn. The rest of us fell asleep, cramped in the back of the jeep.

As Christopher was driving, he almost bumped into a deer. Micheal and him went out to investigate and make sure the deer wasn't hurt.

"Hehe," A voice laughed, again. "WHO WAS THAT?!" Micheal shouted out loud. "Oi, get back in the jeep. We're getting the hell out of here and driving all the way to Fellob." Christopher said.

I woke up at 2am, as I couldn't get much sleep. "What's been going on?" I asked Micheal. "Nothing much, although, we heard a voice laugh and almost hit a deer." He replied back. "Man, I don't like this place, should we head back and forget about Fellob?" Christopher asked.

"No, we're already too far." I answered. If only I had agreed with Christopher there, I'd never be in a horrifying situation. I talked with them about strange things that's been happening so far, and how Jake also heard something. I woke the others up, and we all had our breakfast.

I read about Fellob online, it was a place that had been bombed many times throughout World War 2. Fellob had been completely destroyed, but rebuilt by the government and the citizens. We talked about Fellob and the place we'd stay in for the time being.

Throughout the drive, me, Christopher, and Micheal had a eerie feeling about this place. Looking back at it, maybe it was all because of me. If only I'd say I was busy and couldn't come alone, we probably wouldn't have ever come to Fellob and suffered. There were multiple instances where I could've managed to get us back to where we came from.

To let go of our thoughts, I offered beer to everyone and stopped our car for a while. We began partying inside the car, and talking how life is. We got in the car, and Emily began driving, as she was the only one who was sober. We were a mess, a complete mess, I kid you not. We finally arrived at the borders of Fellob after a while and were welcomed into the town.

Here is exactly when the nightmares began. This place wasn't just a place, it was hell, a living hell. If only we dug a bit into what Fellob is, we would've stayed back. We drove to the cabin we'd stay in. The wooden cabin looked beautiful, we even had emergency supplies and the interior was made to be beautiful.

It all began, from here. This was the start of everything. Our life would go downwards from here.

(Author: Hey ya'll, thanks so much for giving this story a try. I'll be making more chapters, and let me know how do you feel about this first chapter. I'm probably gonna have nightmares about this, so yeah.)

Taste of Passion

musa moo: Its a sweet story. The writing is very good. The only thing I found wanting was the structurisation. Because of that it became a bit confusing in the middle ...
