My expectations for marcus were changed from the day he proposed me with all the courage even he gifted me a new house.he changed my life l will never forget this day. Today's week was tough me and marcus and every important meeting which clashing each other day. And we had to seetle in our new home.well today is sunday we can relax in the pool which was the plan but maybe not cause marcus is sleeping from the morning cause the whole night we had working together and as a good wife and assistant l took his work and tolded me to sleep . Well it has been long l am working and l am starving.

I just went kitchen to make breakfast until my phone started Ringing.the caller id was named as alex our new manager.

Anna: hey alex is everything alright?

Alex : hello madam everything is not alright our store room had been on fire at 3:00 in the morning. I tried to reach you but couldn't l had texted the ceo but no response.we urgently need you the ceo here the police is here also.

Anna: what !!! No it cant be happening we are coming there dont worry is everyone okay is someone injured.

Alex: no there is no one injured miss lucy is just fainted from circumstances she had been taken care off.

Anna : okay we will be there thankyou for the information.

( Call cuts )

I wanted crying so bad now how will l tell this to marcus.l took a step and starting sobbing.

Marcus :

I woke up l started hearing sobs form somewhere l looked beside me there was no one l was afraid that anna had gone but l rushed downstairs to see she was crying.now what had happened. I rushed to see her anna what happened? Pls let me l am getting sacred she was slient. She was about to speak her phone started Ringing l picked her phone it was alex. I hugged anna until she went to sleep.l talked to alex now l understood why anna was crying. I had to leave anna is tierd she can't handle today . I picked anna laid her on the bed got dressed and write a letter kept beside the table of the bed anna would see it when she is awake.l went to office alone .

Office:

Everything is messed up alex is standing sitting rushing there to here. Marcus entered to see his receptionist hugging him and alex standing like a maniac. Marcus told everyone to go home safely and alex would be there. They both went to the police they discussed like for 3 hours about the scenario happened after 5 hours more marcus and alex settled everything.marcus thanked alex and tolded him to go home while he took a whole preview of things missing.

At home

Anna : l woke up with a headache it was all dim and everything was not in my control.l took my phone after reading the letter from marcus l called him .

Marcus : hey angel you woke up .are you okay?

Anna ; hey l am fine just having a headache is everything okay in the office? Did you eat something?

Marcus : everything is going well here l took care of that .and no l haven't been able to eat something.there is work here l wont be able to come .

Anna : okay l am relief well that is not happening l coming there with my car with food we are going work to together and eat it will be good you can rest .

Marcus : angel dont come you will be tierd again and l will order something for you and me.

Anna : no l coming you are really stubborn.

Marcus : okay then come angel bye then l working.

Anna : this is a good behavior l coming byr love you.

Marcus : love you bye.

I went to the closet and changed in comfortable clothes cause it is late no food would be available l look inside the fridge there was pasta eggs and a plate of rice .l made some coffee and prepared lunch boxes took my charger and car keys phone lunch boxes and went to the office.

After 2 hours:

I wented straight to marcus office and saw that marcus was sleeping on his chair .

I woke up him and he hugged me kissed me and l cheered him up with food and coffee .

We work together until the next day
