My Imaginary friend follows me everywhere

My Imaginary friend never leaves my side
He stalks me from behind
Watching my every move
Waiting to strike
I fear for my next downfall

Staring blankly at walls that surround me
But this year
On March 26th I will rise in my defense
I will stand by 50 million people as I wear purple
