Letters to no one

Welcome to a new story of mine and I know that some of you might be fed up with me but I cannot help it🤷🏽‍♀️

I feel like this story needs no introduction as we all can imagine how Lily Luna Potter and Scorpius Malfoy look as well as their characteristics.

I’ve not read Cursed Child and I’m not planning to read it anyways…

So without any further ado…here we go!

{Scorpius’ PoV}

I’m about to eat lunch with my parents when an owl from the Potters’ comes and drops a letter into my lap. From the writing I already know that it’s from Albus.

I begin to open the letter from my best friend as I’m eager to know what is happening, especially what he wants to tell me about his mischievous yet beautiful sister.

I read the letter in shock,

Dear Scorpius,

How are your summer holidays till now?

Mine are worse than expected, Rose and I are not friends anymore. I’m mad at her because she punched my sister, who just pranked her without any kind of violence.

So Lily’s prank was that she just kept sticking some stickers that were moving on one of Rose’s books but she was caught by Rose who was yelling at Lily in anger and we all tried to calm her down. And then out of nowhere she punched Lils, not only breaking her nose but also giving her a black eye.

But when you clearly looked at the stickers, they were all of Rose with all of the family members and was more of a farewell present than a prank.

When the end of our next and last school year in Hogwarts comes, she is going to travel around Europe and America, so she won’t see us all for about three to four years and that’s why Lily wanted her to remember us all.

I then say, “accio parchment and quill,” as I’m about to write back to Al but then I decide to write a letter to Lily that I know that I’m never going to send to her as I most probably am going to write something that would be clearly embarrassing.

So I begin to scribble down…

Dear Flower,

I’m really sorry for what she did to you, it was so uncalled for and had no right to punch you over a small harmless prank. Al wrote to me about it and he is really upset with her. I don’t know what to say to make you feel any better.

I hope you know that you are brilliant just the way you are.

You may not have noticed me, who would when most of them have eyes for a gorgeous, vibrant and lively girl like you and I being a dull and boring guy.

P.S. I’m not jealous of you because you are simply the best and just that you know at first I noticed your twinkling emerald eyes.

“Who are you writing to Scorpius?” Dad asks me with an amused smile while I’m slightly flustered as I wrote something I never wanted her to know.

“Errrr…to no one!” I answer back cautiously as I do not want him to know before she does. So I silently mutter a spell to hide what is written on the parchment. I neatly fold it and stuff it into the pocket of my jeans.

“Are you not going to eat anything, honey?” My mother asks while ruffling my hair affectionately while locking eyes with my dad to have a silent conversation through their eyes.

“I will after I have written to Al.” She nods so I hastily write a letter to him that I’m on his side as I know that Rose never actually liked me and was “friends” with me out of pity.

I roll the parchment and give it to the Potters’ owl that was hanging out with my owl named Ferret. My father does not like the name for some reason.
