Chapter 1
𝔸 𝕎𝕒𝕣𝕡𝕖𝕕 𝕄𝕠𝕣𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘
A glory is like a responsibility,
Which comes like a great pressure,
On thy shoulders, which must be known.
𝓣 his teen boy of 13 years didn't know what is going to change his life for once & for all. Miles Alexander living in Los Angeles, US with a height of 4' 11 and weight of 40 kg along with just normal common features like hazel brown eyes and short golden hair. The boy lived in a happening town with his family, parents, and a little sister named Lucia. Hell, no this is not a once upon a time... story!
"Wake up Miles!" said his mom, "You need to go to the school and don't you miss the breakfast!" Yawning with half eyes shut, Miles replied back, "Yes Mom, on my way." When he opened his eyes fully, he wasn't in his house. Still, he had his PJs & slippers on. When he moved his neck around to see that he was nowhere near his house and wondered at the beauty of the place.
In the mid-way of glancing around, he was interrupted by a little squeak from the back of the room. "What are you looking for big bro?", came the voice from above. Miles was awestruck on seeing Lucia sitting on a chair hanging upside down in mid-air without any support and that too above his head. Who will like to get killed by a falling flying chair and his sister? Lol.
"Wh-where are we Lucy? And how and why are you on a flying upside downy chair?" asked the boy. "We are at the Magnementos Head Office, short for MHO you know." said the girl. "A mango... what? ", which came with the reply but from an unknown voice, "M A G N E M E N T O S Magnementos! Not a silly fruit king or a silly management course or silly mementos or whatever you kids say now." Miles turned to the other side to see a transparent misty scene, which showed a clip of what exactly Magnementos 'bout was, just like various colleges & some particular schools advertising themselves these days. "So, you mean to say that we are chosen to become magicians?", asked Miles looking at just random space. "No, no kiddo you got me all wrong. I mean to say you are chosen to inherit the power of Magnems and save the inner & outer world from evil powers. Although magicians which we basically call wizards do work along with us." said the bulky and hulky voice.
"Oh, oh but does our parents know 'bout it? And why I can't see you?", Miles asked with panic. "Well well, I'll like to answer your questions anti-clockwise cuz I like to introduce myself first. You do see me all around, I am this magnificent room Askyln. And about your parents, you can see yourself on my brume screen." He saw his parents in the car taking two exact copies of him & Lucia to the school.
"How is that even possible? And what does brume exactly mean?" asked Miles. "Well, Brume means mist, and FYI, murk means thick mist because you shall need this info to understand better in the future. And you better improve your vocab, or you will suffer a lot. And they're your clones which will be temporarily there & do all the boring stuff that you were going to do till you return there. And mind it, I said boring! No more questions now because I am sending you to the largest steam express you have ever seen 'Blue De France Express'. Mayy these Magnementos live long!" Before Miles could argue with Askyln that school & their lives are not at all boring, a sapphire blue ladder came out of the room & a suction pulled Miles & Lucy towards the ladder and into the tunnel.

Off they went with a flashing speed to get seated on their seat in the steam express! "I just forgot that you were there too Lucy. And this express is indeed huge.", Miles said while looking at her. Indeed, who will not forget after seeing such cool things! Lucy gave an affirmative nod. He soon gonna find out that their normal lives were very boring.
"Hi, welcome to Blue de France Express. I am Tiara Laurent. And he is Jake, my younger brother. People call me Tia, the 'outside people' cuz I don't know anyone inside this giant express.", forwarding her hand for a handshake, a young girl came in. "Hi, I am Miles Alexander and she is my little sister Lucia short got Lucy. How large is this express & why does this express named Blue De France?" said Miles while firmly shaking hands with Tia. Miles felt a current shaking things in his body up when he shook off his hands with her, it was not that strong to be a static current, so he just didn't mind it.
Tia replied back to him, "Although, I ain't in charge of this big empty express but I will try to answer. So, I don't know how large is it, but the talking room said that it was that large that we can't even imagine. And the express' color is Blue De France, so it is named like that. Well, I am from France, so the talking room gave me a guide to know the express better & its secrets too. But I haven't started it reading yet but it was written on the back cover of the book. Do you want to read with me? Sorry, I think I'm talking for so long. Do you think that I am talkative?"
To this long conversation Miles replied briefly, "You were indeed talking too long but this doesn't seem like you're talkative because when I start talking seriously, I never stop! Secondly, that talking room has a name, he is Askyln. Sounds like Aslan from The Chronicles of Narnia, lol. Thirdly, I will like to read that book with you. Fourthly, what do we need to carry wherever we are going?"
Tia said, "Well we can be two talkative people maybe! And I don't know, Askyln told me that you might be the only one to take anything there on giving me this book. Oh, have you read the chronicle books?" Miles said while smiling & standing to stretch his body, "Then, I feel lucky to meet you! But nope, I have seen movies though."
Lucy stood up, "You two are boring us, right Jake?" Jake replied, "Yes indeed, I think we should go somewhere else & talk." And off they went away from the two Gen Zs. Gen Zs can be a pain for Gen Alphas! But Miles didn't hear anything or saw anything because he was just thinking 'bout this so-called magic thingy and of course Tia. Who will leave a chance to not think of a girl who some guy just met? Well, I will not, what about you dear readers?
