To all the women who have had to sacrifice for someone they love. Who had to make the tough choices, even when they weren’t the most attractive choices to make.

I want to praise all the strong women in the world who have had to make those difficult choices, for a variety of reasons. We don’t always have a white knight to rescue us. Sometimes, we have to rescue ourselves. Sometimes, there is no getting away. There is no shame in saying you have no way out. Sadly, there isn’t always. I praise the women who get free, both physically and mentally. I also praise the women who do everything they can just to survive.

For those still trapped: never give up hope! Your time is coming.
